Went paddling with this company and must say - we enjoyed it a lot. Very good equipment and great tuition made it very enjoyable - so would recommend.

My husband, 11 year old son, and I very much enjoyed our time kayaking with Luke as our guide. He was excellent at explaining how to kayak, and he was very informative and passionate about how important estuaries are to the life of our oceans. We saw dolphins, pelicans dive bombing for fish, hermit crabs, and many oysters. We thoroughly... More

We had 5 family members ranging from 7 to 60. We took the 3 hour marsh tour. Our guide Chris was great. He was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun to visit with about estuary habitat and ecology. We've rafted the Rio Grande and kayaked in Hawaii with the kids a couple years ago, so we opted for the... More

We had the most amazing experience. My wife really wanted to see some dolphins and our guide, Alex, tried her best to spot out some for us. We had one of the best dolphin sightings ever! They literally were up close and even swam under my kayak. Excellent staff. Excellent service! Affordable!

This is a must do while in Charleston/Folly Beach! We had a group of 5 who had never been on an SUP. Derek expertly had us up and paddling in no time. The starting point is off the beaten path and allowed us to view a lot of wildlife. Derek is a naturalist and was able to teach us about... More

Really felt that this was the highlight of my family's trip to visit me here in Charleston. I now reside here and will recommend this activity and COA to people I meet who are visiting. Our guide, Chris, more than made up for our not having any luck that day seeing any dolphin,s and we did get to experience a... More

If you are traveling to Charleston, you should definitely make the trip here. We went on the sunset kayak ride. It was a great experience! We saw several dolphins and our fantastic tour guide, Molly, taught us about the local ecology. This was the highlight of our trip!

We took the self-guided tour from 11am-2pm and had a great time. Get the "upgraded" kayak with a rudder - it makes steering much easier. Staff is amazing and provides a 10-minute tutorial before sending you on your way with a helpful map that makes it difficult to get lost. On our way back to the COA outpost (right behind... More
