During our visit to charleston with friends we took them out on an ECO tour. We did this trip a few years back with Charleston Outdoor Adventures and it was great then but I think this one was even better. Our guide spent plenty of time talking about the many dolphins we saw and he had a great sense of... More

We took a boat trip to see the dolphins in their natural habitat. Amazing! Great information by the captain and great fun for all the family.

Captain Derek was extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun! We were lucky to see a number of Dolphins on our sunset tour! I will be back in October to bring the rest of the family! Thanks captain Derek!

We did the sunset/dolphin cruise. Within 5 minutes of leaving the dock we had our first dolphin encounter. The captain (Captain Derek) was very knowledgeable, fun, and witty. We saw many dolphin pods during our trip and the scenery was beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone. FYI: parking was a bit difficult because there is a restaurant (Bowen's Island... More

Very belated, but my wife and I rented a kayak from COA back in October last year. We have our own kayaks at home, so were not looking for a guided tour. Ended up going out through the estuaries to Morris Island lighthouse. Anna and Tripp were very helpful getting us launched and in providing info to get there. The... More

Best afternoon of fun in this beautiful city. Great price for 2 full hours exploring the estuaries. Nick and Joe were wonderful, knowledgeable and fun guides---actually everyone at COA was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this outfit for your Charleston outdoor adventure.

COA is located just outside of Folly Beach...call for directions because you will think you have gone down the wrong road when you go there. This is a great activity if you want to get outside and see the natural environment of the area. The staff is friendly and accommodating and launched us on a kayak and a paddle board.... More

Kayaking was a great way to explore the unique environment of the marsh, and Chalice was an excellent guide - she had a lot of information about the area to share, and made the kayaking itself very fun and manageable, even for beginners. I would definitely recommend it!

Thank you so much for paddling with us! We are so glad you enjoyed your trip, and were able to paddle with Chalice. It's amazing that each time you go out on the water, the more that you learn and experience. Thank you again for choosing COA! -Anna and the COA crew More

This boat tour was one of the highlights of our week in the Charleston area. We took the 2 1/2 hour Morris Island Lighthouse Eco Tour. Our boat captain was Tripp, who was entertaining, educating, and just an all around great guy and tour guide. I have wanted to start showing my kids (9 and 13) the country on an... More

Thank you so much for choosing COA to take you to Morris Island! Captain Tripp is an excellent guide and entertainer, and certainly knows where to find the dolphins this year! Bringing your children on eco tours are the best way for them to learn their sciences! Thank you again for enjoying the beauty of the water that April has... More

Very pleasant guide. Didn't find it especially scenic. Felt like we went "around the block" in a kayak. A definite arm workout especially if the wind is blowing against you. It was nice but I would't tell anyone this is a must nor would I do it on the next return to Charleston. My teens felt the same way..

Thank you for paddling with COA. We're sorry you felt disappointed with the route of the tour, and hope that you were able to enjoy being out in the quiet of the estuary regardless! Paddling against the wind can certainly be strenuous, and we always do our best to make sure that we take the best route depending on the... More
