COA is tucked away perfectly away from the crowded area of Folly Beach. From the beginning with an email inquiry, phone call and being on site, all staff were extremely friendly, helpful, accommodating and informative. I went as a single and they were willing to accommodate that with no extra cost. PLENTY of parking. Nick was patient as I paddled... More

I have both kayaked and done the dolphin cruise with COA. They are very professional and I had a wonderful experience both times there. At the dolphin cruise with Captain Tripp, we saw so many dolphins that we lost count. When I return to Charleston next year, I will definitely visit COA again. Cheers!

This was an excellent tour for our family. We have 2 children under 13 that rode with us and my 13 year old did everything himself. None of us had any experience kayaking before and excellent staff assisted us all the way. At the end of the tour all of us were confident in our kayaking skills. Staff were super... More

Had an amazing eco tour with Derrick - he is a very knowledgeable, friendly guide! Saw dolphins, dolphins, and more dolphins, along with a variety of birds, and even sting rays! We even got to see the dolphins feeding - just awe-inspiring to watch! The island portion of the trip was a thrill - tons of shelling at low tide... More

We took a chartered tour to the Morris Island Lighthouse with our two small boys. Captain Derrick was the best! He went out of his way to educate us and to find all sorts of wildlife for us to see. We loved the dolphins! The stop at Morris Island Lighthouse was the perfect place to find shells and take pictures.... More

Wonderfully informative tour guide. Very well organized and helpful staff. The road to get there was a bit hidden. Turn down the dirt road, go until it ends. Don't be scared it's down there. You won't be disappointed.

Had so much fun taking Anna's SUP Yoga class on Sunday morning during my stay in Charleston. It was the perfect setting in the morning for a relaxing, yet fun and challenging yoga class on a paddleboard. It was my first time doing SUP, and Anna did a great job explaining how everything works and giving us personal attention. Would... More

This was the absolute highlight of my visit to the Folly Beach area. I opted for a sunset tour of 2-3 hours along with a couple and Anna the excellent guide, three kayaks in all. The kayak, life jacket and other equipment seemed to be in excellent condition. I have some kayaking excperience, but not from this sort of environment... More

Wow...what an awesome night we had with Captain Joe! My sister and I took the Sunset Dolphin adventure and we couldn't believe how many dolphins we saw. Captain Joe was very knowledgable and informative about the Lowlands Estuary that he took us through. He did not rush us through the tour, matter-of-fact, he took more time than the tour allowed... Our family took the Dolphin Tour. Captain Derek was amazing! He was very imformative, but also fun! We learned a few things and were able to see several pods of dolphins!

Captain Derek is very fun and charismatic. I'm glad you and your family enjoyed the Dolphin Tour and saw so many bottlenose dolphins in the estuary. We continue to educate ourselves about these dolphins and enjoy sharing what we know. Thanks for coming out to COA! -Challiss and the COA Crew More
