Our family did the sunset kayak tour. Alex and Trip were very friendly and knowledgable. Weather wasn't too good -- windy with slight showers - but the sea kayaks and sprayskirts kept us warm and happy. Birdwatching was impressive. You get a totally different perspective on the low country being out in the marshes. Didn't see any dolphins on our... More

Thank you again for paddling with us at COA. Alex and Tripp certainly had an excellent time with y'all! -Anna and the COA... More

Rented a pair of sit-on-top kayaks here for a self-guided eco adventure. Anna at the desk was super nice and knowledgeable, got us hooked up with a couple of solid (and almost brand-new) boats as well as good paddles, a drybag for our gear, etc. Got us well oriented on the map, suggested some awesome routes to try, and pointed... Thank you so much for renting from us even on that slightly cold and rainy day! The mist in the air did make for an excellent adventure!! My favorite part is when you came back with some stray trash that had blown into the estuary after the storms last week. Thank you for taking care of our ecosystem! Hope to... More

We learned a a plethora of information---from general to detailed. It was fascinating and allowed us to understand the unique ecosystem of the area up close. It was like a class-- but fun. So glad we were able to learn this as a family (boys ages 13/8). Very cold today, choppy waters but we were still able to enjoy the... More

We went on the two hour family and friends tour. The guide was wonderful. Everyone, even the perpetual whiners, had a great time.

Thoroughly recommend Charleston Outdoor Adventures. Three of us joined a small group on a boat to the lighthouse. A very enjoyable and informative trip. Saw dolphins and lots of other wildlife. Do it!

We were recently visiting Folly beach and decided to do the dolphin tour.
