Our guides are the best in the business, with years of research and storytelling experience. They promise the kind of accuracy, insight and enthusiasm that create a delightful touring experience. Let them lead you to Charleston's hidden alleys and tell you what went on behind its closed doors. The daytime walks last approximately two hours. The ghost walks are shorter (and scarier). We go rain or shine. There are no hills. The pace is easy. Please join us. You'll be glad you did! « less

There are several walking tours to choose from, but I can tell you that you will not be disappointed with Dennis and his Civil Way & Slavery tour. He enjoys what he is doing and he has an enthusiastic personality. He has a notebook with pictures to go with his stories. The tour ended in two hours and 30 minutes.... More

Tried to book today on line today. Can't take same day bookings, so we called. We were told by one of the partners, that he had no clue if they had availability for today. Said only Mike knew, and he was asleep. So we were to wait all day long, until 4:30, to call back leaving us in limbo on... More

The reviewer is correct in pointing out that tickets cannot be purchased through our website on the same day that a tour is given. It is also true that I begin accepting reservations for the ghost tour at 4 pm each day. The ghost tour is our most popular tour and often sells out. These measures are in place to... More

We completed the Civil War & Slavery tour with Dennis, and found it very informative. Great information on both topics, with extra nuggets on the history of Charleston thrown in too. Highly recommended.

This tour was fun, our guide Mike Brown is very knowledgable and has done years of research about the stories behind these ghosts. He tells a story in projected voice that draws you in to listen. The pace was good, and the walk was very pleasant. I highly recommend this tour. The tour is of course at night. It would... More

This is well worth your time and money. Tour guide Mike is extremely knowledgeable about Charleston ghost history and delivers the information (and pictures) in a mildly spooky voice. The walk was easy. We had a couple of scared youngsters in our group, but they seemed to enjoy it! I will do this again for sure.

We visited with some friends that live in Charleston and they took us on a walking tour of the old town. First starting at the corner of Board and Meeting St. by St Michel's Episcopal Church. We walk down Meeting street checking out the architecture of the old home and their beautiful gardens. Then onto Battery Park to take in... More

Tony knew his stuff about slavery and the civil war. Such a great manner. He had done these tours for many years. He was thoughtful about those not on the tour, but wanting to get by, he could questions with such grace and genuine interest, good for non americans, as he didn't assume a full knowledge of the US constitution.... Just finished this wonderful tour with our group of 5. Adults and 2 teens and an 11 year old. Everyone LOVED the tour! Mike Brown does an absolutely excellent job at telling the stories of both Charleston's history and its history involving ghost experiences. A very nice bonus is touring the city at night and getting off of the main... More

Even the skeptics among us thought that Mike Brown did a great job on the ghost tour. His stories were mesmerizing and fun, even if some of us didn't believe a word. Serious but not heavy, not at all silly, he hit just the right tone. We did the later evening tour to avoid young children and to achieve the... More
