Our guides are the best in the business, with years of research and storytelling experience. They promise the kind of accuracy, insight and enthusiasm that create a delightful touring experience. Let them lead you to Charleston's hidden alleys and tell you what went on behind its closed doors. The daytime walks last approximately two hours. The ghost walks are shorter (and scarier). We go rain or shine. There are no hills. The pace is easy. Please join us. You'll be glad you did! « less

Mike Brown gave an excellent ghost tour tonight (7-23-14) including old haunted tales and more recent tales. He also included several historical facts about the city. Excellent experience!

Went on Homes and History Tour last week. Dennis was tour guide, he was very informative and knew a ton about history! He made the tour interesting. The best part is that he's open to questions- and knows the answers to questions!! Great time!!

My wife and I are from Savannah, Ga. and have done lots of ghost tours and the like in and around the area. Having said that, this your stood out mostly because of our guide Mike and how much research and attention to detail he brings to the tour. Well, that and the fact that Charleston is beautiful! Whether you... More

Enjoyed the adventure and the stories. I only wish there could have been a bit more than gates, pictures and seeing the places from the other side of the road. It would have been great to get a closer look at some of these places

My family and I had a nice time on the walking tour. It was fairly hot the night that we went, but the tour was very informative of the Charleston area.

My family and I have been on many historical tours around the country- especially tours in the south centered around The Civil War. This one measures up with the best of them. Our guide, Dennis, was incredibly well-read, entertaining, and informative. His enthusiasm for the material was contagious. He provided a large amount of information about the Civil War era... More

We took both tours while visiting with our 17 year old g-daughter and even she loved them both. It was hit and miss with the weather but the most we got was a little drizzle and that did not stop the tour for anyone. Mind you, you will NOT see ghosts on the tour.....heard one person rumbling....thins is not a... More

In the 2.5 hours we spent with Dennis, one was really able to tell that he really knows what he's talking about. We heard another tour operator say he is involved in preservation and proctors the exams for the tour guides. He definitely has a vested interest in the town and knows a lot about its history. The walking tour... More

We went on the History & Homes tour with Dennis. We booked and paid online (which saves you $3). Dennis was extremely nice and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much and would highly recommend it to anyone!
