I will guide you on a memorable two-hour walking tour that includes an introduction to some of our most celebrated landmarks and hidden treasures that make this such a special place to visit. We will start at the Old Exchange Building (Charleston's Independence Hall) then stroll through the streets of Charleston. Just a few of the sites covered are St. Michael’s Church: the oldest church edifice in Charleston, Four Corners of Law: referenced in Ripley’s “Believe It or Not”, Rainbow Row: multi-colored residences today, was once the center of the waterfront economy, Antebellum Mansions: see the grandeur and beauty of these pre-Civil War homes, Historic Waterfront Battery: named for the entrenchments and bastions once protecting the holy city, Revolutionary and Civil Wars: overall history and sites that defined these battles for independence and state rights. There is a rich history and culture I would like to share and look forward to showing you the sights of our beautiful city, creating an experience you will remember for years to come! « less

My brother and I took Brian's Charleston Sole tour after a family friend recommended it. We are so thrilled that we did! Brian seemed to know just about everything about the city, from famous historical events, to architectural details, to anecdotes about the locals. He also is a very nice guy who not only was friendly with the tour group... More

This was a great tour. Brian was a wealth of information on the history of Charleston. He answered all of our questions and was a pleasure to tour with. He took his time; the tour actually lasted about 2.5 hours and we were only a group of 4 so the size of the group was not a factor. He was... More

We very much enjoyed Finn's walking tour of Charleston. His enthusiasm is infectious and his knowledge is amazing. Our only suggestion would be to provide water at the start of the tour, even if we had to purchase it. We could not get to the break area fast enough on a very hot day. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour... More

We all learned so much in the two hour walk. Fin's presentation of the information made it easy to follow, interesting and fun. The pace was perfect and a break in the theater was well timed. Highly recommend this to anyone who's looking to make a connection to Charleston.

We walked for the streets of Charleston and like Paris, is a city full of history, beautiful and friendly. Charleston City Market is beautiful place with thousands of products like food, handcraft, and more. I loved walking across of yours streets with vibrant colors, flowers in yours walls, buildings and history together. I'm fell in love of Charleston.

I've been a docent at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home where I gave tours. I give walking tours for the Northport Historical Society, and give walking tours of New York City. I've taken tours in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Berlin and even cities that don't begin with the letter B. Brian's tour was nothing short of amazing. I saw it listed... More
