This is an easy, inexpensive, and fun way of getting around Charleston. Get the all day pass and cruise. You may even see some dolphins.

We stayed at Mount Pleasant and used the water taxi to visit downtown Charleston which was much cheaper than staying at downtown Charleston. The employees don't talk unless you ask them a question, not very friendly but not rude either. Maybe what you would expect from a public bus driver not a tourist attraction. From other reviewers I expected more... More

We have enjoyed many water taxis in other cities and have loved them. While this water taxi was very convenient we found it lacking. The crew was somewhat pleasant but totally disengaged from the passengers. They provided no information about any of the sights or stops that were made. There was a mix of people who used it from point... More

great experience for families. Even in somewhat bad weather it was an easy ride 15 minutes from one stop to the next around Charleston harbor. sights were great. we spotted a pod/family of dolphins and the kids loved it. I highly recommend. add a 15 minute easy water taxi ride to your trip to Charleston and the kids will love... More

This is like a two-for-one deal! We stayed in Mt Pleasant and used the water taxi to travel back and forth to downtown Charleston. It was a beautiful ride, and super convenient. The parking is free, and for $10 pp, you can ride all day.

We boarded at Waterfront Park and just took a cruise around the harbor, but we had the option to get off of the taxi at Patriots Point. Dolphins were swimming just a few feet away, and I enjoyed watching them. We enjoyed this very much.

Helpful hint for anyone wanting to explore Charleston but not staying right downtown or maybe just going for they day... Park at Patriot's Point and take the Water Taxi across. It gives you a great little 10-15 min trip across the harbor with great views of the bridge and boats and city you can only get from the water. It... More

Great crew, good value, great way to shuttle between mt. Pleasant and Charleston. Drop off is near all the Market Street action, or jump off near the USS Yorktown for a tour of the historic WWII ship.
