My wife and I visit Charleston every August to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A few trips ago, we discovered the Water Taxi and have been hooked on it ever since then. It originates at the Charleston Aquarium area then makes it way across the cooper River to Patriot's Point & The Charleston Marina...then to the Water Front Park at Vendue... More

This is a great way to see things from the water side, as well as get to four different points of interest easily, without having to drive and park. Friendly crew and very affordable - ride all day for $10! Relatively small boat with most seating under a canopy for shade or cover from rain. You make the entire loop... More

If you need to get a crosse the water, this is the way to go. Interesting views of both Charleston and Patriots Point. When we took the taxi, we went along the length of the USS Yorktown and got to see a view of the ship that one would not normally see. Low cost way to get into town. Recommend... More

Excellent way to get around and see the sites. The taxi's here in town are hard to figure out pricewise... meter, per head... any way you cut it very expensive. The Water Taxi is a nice way to see the town if you have the time for it.

The secret to utilizing this wonderful way to get around congestive traffic is to stay at one of the hotels that is close to one of the Water Taxi stops then relax and let them take you to the best of the sites in Charleston

A nice way to get around to the sites at Patriot Point. The Captain was informative and also recommend some place to eat. We chose the Fish House which was very good

If you are thinking this would be a cool way to see Charleston from the water, save your money. If you want to go to Patriot's Point or one of the other stops though, and don't want to drive, it is a great means of transportation. Unfortunately, we were only in Charleston for one evening and thought this would be... More

So glad we read about this taxi here. Saved us a drive. We walked from our hotel on meeting, caught the taxi over to the Yorktown and had a great time there. Nice ride back as we hit the other 3 stops, loved it. All day pass was $10, cant beat it.
