Based upon similar pub tours in Europe, it has been featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Wall Street Journal. The Pub Tour is a fun and unique tour, which includes visits to many historic pubs (some with rooftop views of the city), old taverns frequented by pirates, breweries haunted by ghosts, a dose of history, and a chance to sample some of the area’s tasty micro-brews on tap. The Pub Tour is definitely the most exciting way to see the city of Charleston (and most popular), and it often sells out quickly. Buy tickets now so you don’t miss out on such a cool tour! « less

My wife and I came to Charleston for a wedding. We were suprised at how beautiful the city was. A friend of mine had recommended this pub tour to us, believing we would appreciate it. We did. The tour guide took us to several pubs in the historic district of Charleston. These are the pubs that aren't populated by tourists,... More

This past spring, I decided to be a tourist in my own city for a weekend. Dismissing the light rain & dark clouds, I chose to embark on a pub tour with a company that I was somewhat familiar with, as I have seen their guides leading groups of curious tourists about the East Bay & Market St. area. I... More

My husband and I were in Charleston for a week and got to do a few different tours; this was both of our favorite, by far. Our tour guide, Daniel, was funny and very knowledgeable about the pubs we went to and Charleston as a whole. We had a small group, which made for an even better time. It was... More

My husband and I were in Charleston for one night as a stopover before getting back on the road. Because of limited time, we could only choose one tour. I'm so glad we chose this one because we had so much fun! The tour group size was small so conversation was easy. Daniel, our tour guide, was knowledgable and had... More

Kyle showed us Charleston by way of local pubs and ball room dance steps! Not only does he resemble Richard Gere, he dances like a Pretty Woman. He was a good sport and a blast to hang with. Pirate history not a strength. He thought C (sea) was a pirate's favorite letter, but we disputed this and he conceded, it... More

We really enjoyed our tour! It was 2 couples with our 2 sons (ages 21 & 23). There was so much detail with good drinks and good food, we recommend this to EVERYONE who like to try new beers!

My husband and I ended up with a private tour and it was perfect! We heard all about Charleston in colonial/revolutionary/prohibition/modern times. We learned about the burgeoning craft beer business in the area. We also heard a few ghost stories - can not be helped in Charleston! Lots of tasty snacks along the way to help soak up the beverages... More

This was an excellent experience on our first day in Charleston. Went to five pubs and all had local brews available to purchase and appetizers that were included in the tour with a little bit or Charleston history mixed in. The tour guide was very knowledgable as he is a native to Charleston.
