Save your money on this one. Guide talks a lot about himself. Very boring. His ghost stories are not believable. A lot of walking in circles. Spending 10 minutes talking about a parking garage was the icing on the cake for us. We had to leave before we fell asleep standing on our feet. Total waste of our money and... More

Had a fun time learning about Charleston history with Al. Not the typical tour pointing out the dead plates in the window, and where George Washington is said to have slept. He combined a feel for the historic area past and present with a knowledge of the city and real world tie ins that made our experience one of the... More

We recently visited Charleston for the weekend and our hotel recommended a walking tour with Al. We were very happy that we did- Al was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city, the architecture, the war history, and basically everything we could think of asking questions about. We had a private tour which was very reasonable and well worth... More

Al met with My husband and I for a late night private ghost tour. He was entertaining and we enjoyed his little stories.

Al personalized our tour of historic Charleston. He had so much information to share, it truly made us want to take notes and follow up on additional research, mentioning authors, architects, and famous personalities in Charleston. The two hours went by so quickly, it was sad we couldn't have him spend the rest of the day with us! The tour made... More

Our tour started off a little questionable. We were told to meet at a particular spot and as time went by, we began to get an odd feeling we were in the wrong spot or something else was wrong. My husband finally called the number to reach Al and he had not been made aware of our tour by the... More

Couldn't ask for more. Much better than the ghost and graveyards tour we took the following night. AL was very knowledgeable and had an answer to almost every question we asked.

Al came recommended by our hotel and he was a delight. We learned so much in just 2 short hours and he customized his information to our interests.

we had a private tour with Al .ray and so pleased we did, he knew so much history and took us all around and filled our minds with days past. It was informative, fun and beautiful to see the city with our own personal guide instead of a large group. Al would be the one I'd have again when we... More

We have been to Charleston many times and either walked the historic district on our own or taken the Carriage tour, but this Tour was so much more. Walking the old Walled City with a very knowledgeable guide was well worth the money! I highly recommend this tour. Tour was 1.25 miles and 2 hours long. I feel like I... More
