A great place to walk. There are markers that give historical accounts of what happened there. It was very windy when we were there. The homes are amazing to look at and it's a great place to walk and imagine the history that took place there.

Went in December so weather wasn't perfect but it was nice to walk around and see the views. Kids enjoyed jumping on cannons and putting feet in fountains.

We loved our time in Charleston and spent a great deal of time at this location, both on tours and on our own. It is like the grouding foundation for Charleston.

Waterfront Park was one of my favorite things that we saw in Charleston. Located along the Cooper River, the view is beautiful, and it is also lined with some amazing homes. Two large fountains add to the beauty. It feel so relaxing. The park is bookended by piers, and we were able to walk out onto them to enjoy the... More

Don't miss this free and scenic walk. Romantic swings catch the breeze as you watch the ships sail in. Picturesque.

A well designed and beautiful park with comfortable swings and a nice fountain! Watching the constant flow of ship and boat traffic on the harbor is very pleasant!

Absolutely lovely. We walked along the waterfront at least three times in our 2.5 day stay. The swinging benches off the pier are such a treat.

This was our first trip as a couple to Charleston and the perfectly, yet unusually warm January weather allowed us to romantically enjoy the sunset at the waterfront and walk to the battery- ending the evening with a phenomenal dinner at Eli's Table. Super satisfied with the area and all the wonderfully, warm personality and people in the area!
