Enjoying the ending of a great day in the park whiling away the evening in a swing is the cherry on the cake. This park is clean, beautiful, and if your lucky, not to crowded. Wonderful place to enjoy nature and family.

This is a beautiful spot with a great view and a nice breeze from the water. Many areas to sit and relax, or just leisurely walk and enjoy. I especially like it in the spring and fall when the weather is cool or at night in the summer.

Waterfront very pretty-the marsh smell not so much. Loved the pineapple fountain and the views. The swings were a relaxing break.

Charleston park is amazing. The surrounding and fountains are beautiful. The park is very well kept and very clean. Was fun to see the art students painting in the park. A must see

This park is beautiful and has many benches (in the shade!) and 2 fountains, including the famous pineapple! The pier with the swinging benches is peaceful and has great views of hte Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.

We arrived and was awed. It was beautiful, we were able to get a swing, there was not a lot of people there that day. We just sat in the swing about 30 minutes and enjoyed the cool breezes. You can see Ft Sumter from here. The pineapple fountain is a must see. It is nice. If in the area... More

It is a relaxing place to walk and enjoy the water views. There can be a lot of children, so not always a quite place.

A lot of history takes place right from this park. All the cannons and especially the mortars right in the park. The first shots of the Civil war happened right here in Charleston. It is such a beautiful place and is certainly well kept. It is lined with autos just walking, running and seeing the beautiful harbor with Fort Sumter... More

Beautiful park overlooking the water, sailboats & cruise ships. Swings near the dock are a great way to watch the ships. Fountain and palm trees are beautiful no matter what the weather is.
