We were driving by the waterfront park when the fountain caught our eye. We parked and walked back to the fountain. This is great place for kids and adults. There are two fountains for kids to play in, so bring their bathing suit. It's plenty of seating. There are a few swings for that can sit a family of 4 to 5. You can also fish on the pier. Don't miss this stop. I also suggest Gullah Tours. more

Rest and Relaxation! We only stayed 1/2 hour, but it was great. The breeze was wonderful while we sat on the porch swings and looked at the water. The best thing- its free! more

A nice place to relax. We enjoyed the swings for a few minutes and walking out onto the pier. We didn't spend a lot of time at the park, however, as there were so many other beautiful and historic places to visit in Charleston. more

This park is a beautiful and relaxing place to spend an afternoon. The fountains are the highlight of the park, and you are even allowed to wade into them. This is definitely one of Charleston's highlight attractions. more

This was one of the first places we visited upon arriving in Charleston and one of the last places we visited before leaving. It has such a great vibe to it. Don't miss the dolphins. We saw three of them just 200 feet from shore (near the pineapple fountain). The park is great and should be park of any tour of Charleston. more
