Taking a walk along the Battery and the streets in the immediate vicinity can make you feel 'I'd like to be a Southerner' - many of the homes date 1800s, a few earlier.

Enjoyed a brief walk thru the park everything was beautiful. Wanted to stay long enough to see the boat parade but got to chilly before it started. will make sure next time we dress more warmly.

Great scenic views. Beautiful houses and live oaks. Great to take photos. Swings and benches to rest. Trolley stop right there. Short walk from the market.

This area makes for a very pleasant walk. On one side you have beautiful historic homes, on the other the beautiful water way. In the middle you walk under majestic oak trees and there are two large impressive water fountains. Worth a stroll if you are in the area. Small public bathroom near the largest fountain.

This is a beautiful park - On the small side due to it being designed on a long and narrow base but has everything I personally like – nice views of the river front all the way across to Fort Sumter, the USS York, I think that’s the ship that was docked across the river and the Ravenel Bridge, plenty... Although this park is not very large, it is worth seeing. There are many places where you can sit and look out over the water. There are several bench swings too. This park is near many other sites to see--Rainbow Row, White Point Gardens, etc. Don't miss the beautiful pineapple fountain.

Honestly, this is a very small park. There is nothing special at all. I would rather walk through the old streets of Charleston and visit the pretty houses instead of going there!

Visited the Charleston Waterfront Park after Thanksgiving and even on a sunny but chilly day, it was full of activity. There were friends, families, lovers, photographers, runners, and observers out enjoying the lovely view near the battery and gardens. It is a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy some fresh air.

Beautiful waterfront! Our tour guide told us stories of this area. There are still cannons in the park. Lovely old homes to see too!
