Nice place to walk and enjoy some calm while in Charleston. Swings on the pier, and interesting views. Fountains to play in.

Great view of the water, bridge and a few ships. Even for a chilly visit, it was worth it. The fo u tain was pretty cool and I can imagine children playing in it during summer hot months. There's plenty of swings to hang out it for people and water watching.

An astonishing view of the beautiful bridge that connects Charleston to Patriots Point. From there you can also take a glimpse of the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier and Fort Moutrie. It’s a really nice place for a family walk.

Charleston is about the atmosphere and the waterfront is an important part of that historical substance. Walk, don't drive.

Sunny and chilly on my visit but very enjoyable. I probably spent well over an hour strolling around, taking in the harbor air, the sound of wind on the water, a dolphin or two swimming by, the fountains, the artists, the swing benches.... very relaxing.

It's a great place to walk and look at the rivers and adjacent period homes. Total distance is about 1/2 mile with a walkway right at the rivers' edge. We like to walk here after breakfast and sit on one of the wooden benches and read.

Recently visited a friend in Charleston, SC who brought me down to the waterfront. It was a cold and windy day, but the beauty of the waterfront park did not escape me. It began with the gorgeous fountain at the park entrance. We walked the boardwalk running parallel to the waterfront, even observing a Celebrity cruise ship docked for the... More

Charleston Waterfront is a great place to visit for all ages. Kids (and I guess adults too) can splash in the fountains so bring a towel. Everyone will enjoy the swings that have enough room for four. Walk to the end of the pier and look carefully, there's an excellent chance you'll see a dolphin or two. If it’s some... More

Great views of water and historic Charleston homes. The park has wonderful civil war era monuments and cannons for history buffs. Great for families to picnic and enjoy a clean, beautiful area. Also wonderful for taking long walks along the water. Plenty of free parking.
