We visit Charleston several times a year and it can be pricey so it is nice to do something every now and then that is cheap or free. If you are staying in Charleston, stay in the heart of the historic district and you can basically walk everywhere. Then take a nice day and walk down to this park. You... More

Nice waterfront. Surrounded by tons of great restaurants. We ate Charleston crab house on the roof and enjoyed watching the street below.

Enjoy harbor breezes on the pier while catching glimpses of water foul and watching the occasional cargo ship come into port. Grab a seat on a wooden bench swing...it's very peaceful. Then play in the 2 water features along the waterfront. One shoots out multiple strong water beams, and the other is shaped like a giant pineapple with water cascading... More

It's a place to go, it won't work me telling you what is like, you must go and see it by yourself. Charleston is a beautiful city, it's worth to visit! I'm in love with this town .

We stopped here twice on our visit to Charleston. The views across the water (of the bridge, bay, ship, forts, etc.) are beautiful - lots of opportunities for pictures. The fountain is cool - literally; you can wade into it and experience some relief from the heat! There is another, separate splash-pad-like area you can walk through. I loved seeing... More

This was a little piece of heaven on a hot day of sight seeing. Places to sit, out of the sun and the cool breeze coming off the ocean. Some nice fountains, and shaved ice for a treat! We really enjoyed this!

A must stop for lovers and families! 1. Pack your kids swimsuit & towels. Wading in the 2 fountains is encouraged! 2. Walk long the water. On a clear day you can see Ft. Sumter, The USS Yorktown and the bridge. 3. 5 min. walk to the Slave Market Shops & restaurants. 4. Don't forget your quarters to feed the... More

Fun! Fun! I was here with my girl friend but next time when we return with the kids I will be taking them to the fountains - it looked like so much fun and I almost run in myself, if only I had change of clothes :-)

Wonderful area and setting for all ages. Has a short pier to view the marine traffic and cruise ships when in dock. Plenty of benches and shade trees plus a fountain for the kids if they want to get 100% wet! Today we had a great cooling breeze from the ocean. With all the walking and should you have kids...
