Nice historic spot.

benches come in handy for a rest when touring the city. Fountain and statues make for an attractive setting.

Saturdays it's full of families, tourists, strollers. Lots of music and prepared food as well as local produce and crafts. Look for the okra pickles--they're amazing!

Any other day its just a park with grass, statue and fountain at the corner of a busy downtown neighbourhood but on Saturday they have a variety of vendors set up with local grown produce, food that was interesting and with modern twists mainly for the health minded folks who want great tasting food. There was music and break dancers,... More

Every Saturday I want to be at Marion Square. Everything from food to music can be found there. Kids and grownups love it, you can shop and eat and just sit and watch people!

Nice fountain on the SW corner of the park. Take a history tour and they will tell you all about the public hangings that took place in Marion Square back in the day. Otherwise, it's a park. A couple homeless people laying around, but nothing fancy.

This was fun and has a great atmosphere. Mostly locals and families., but it was great for people watching and a relief from architecture and touristy stuff. especially, if you have children.

Some lovely artwork in pop up tents ... At night, drunks at the fountain. though a police care was in the park, it's a shame.

The annual outdoor 'Juried art exhibition' is always interesting if only to try to show you how out of step you are! Every ribbon was awarded to an 'arty' piece with the exception of the Mayor's Choice which was a charcoal REAL work of art. We bought a photo print from Steven Hyatt who had been featured in a photo... More

This is a beautifully charming small but great park to walk through. It is centrally located to all in downtown Charleston and has well maintained grassy areas, fountains, and statues. Great to spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon, taste & purchase local foods, treats & unique items from the many local artisians that are frequently set up in the park.

The square is located downtown and gives a place to relax and stop to enjoy the scenery. There are some churches and hotels along with several restaurants nearby.
