We were staying at a hotel at the same end of Charleston as the college and decided to take a walk through the campus. It's a very pretty college campus and definitely worth a half-hour or so of your time.

Trees with hanging moss. Not sure if there is anything else to see at the college. We walked to and from in different directions, not much to see close by.

Most visitors gave a four or five star on CC but there is not much to see. It's a small college occupying one large city block. Most of the department buildings are like a residential house. Nothing special although it is quiet and enjoyable to walk.

I happened on this campus taking a different turn out of my hotel while in Charleston and bay am I glad I did. A gem of a campus, lovely Victorian buildings with all the details, stained glass and turrets. Well manicured grounds dotted with statuary and benches for sitting. Don't miss it.

The historic campus center has lovely architecture: Charleston "single houses" with side piazza, a Victorian mansion complete with stained glass windows & a turret, stucco buildings, and these are all in pastel-y colors. Many trees draped by Spanish moss add to the ambiance.

This college is lovely, went strolling though here at night and you felt like you were on a movie set. Very clean and the buildings are charming.

An absolutely beautiful campus, even more beautiful than Oxford or Cambridge. I was visiting for the day and managed to get to look around the grounds. Both I and my companion fell in love with the campus and how southern and charming it was. The only negative: they don't have the postgraduate that I am studying.

This is the loveliest campus I have ever seen. Take a stroll through it, even if you are not an academic. It is absolutely lovely.

We didn't go on an official tour, which might have been nice but walked through after dinner one night when everything was so beautifully lit up. The buildings are old, huge and just charming. It's hard to stop looking at them. Then we went through again in the daytime and it was bustling with students and professors walking and riding... More
