Great campus with a great sense of history. Although historic the technolgy was state of the art. Everyone we had contact with was extremely friendly.

Please take note, WE LOVE THE COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON, this specifically refers to move-in. George St. Move-in was chaotic and disastrous at best! We've learned to expect more from Southern Hospitality which was non-existent during move-in. Not only was it pouring rain, there was no accommodation made to keep things dry, there were NO student volunteers to help, the parking... More

And near downtown. It is a very pretty campus. A hobby that we visit universities when we can. It was a peaceful and relaxing walk among their grounds. Southern landscaping. A good place to refresh if on a trip.

Walked through the campus and it was beautiful with the historic buildings and old live oaks. Very quiet at the time we were there as college had not started yet.

Take the time to visit College of Charleston. We went with our Grandson and was so impressed with its history and charm. Even if your visiting as a tourist don't miss seeing this Grand Dame of higher learning.

This is a relaxing and charming part of the city with lots of oaks and Spanish moss. I was alone during this visit and I took my time to take pictures and to discover details. There are a lot of spots where the light creates beautiful effects filtering through the trees and the moss dangling from them. The entrance of... More

When I was imagining visiting the South, Spanish moss danced in my head. The College of Charleston is exactly what I imagined. My family and I took a short walk of the campus and snapped some amazing pictures of the kids in this area this is just oozing Southern charm! Those traveling with young children can take advantage of cheap... More
