Our daughter goes to College of Charleston, but even before she decided to go there we loved touring the campus on our visit to Charleston. It is a real find. A beautiful distinctive campus in the heart of a vibrant city. Worth a visit.

Visiting the C of C campus is like walking on to the set of a period Southern movie. It almost looks as if it’s been contrived as a tourist attraction. But it’s a true working university that just happens to be housed in a collection of picturesque historic buildings. Add skeins of Spanish moss hanging on ancient live oaks, hundreds... More

Wonderful campus in the middle of Charleston. Great history and charm. The students here look happy and why wouldn't they....great education in a coastal town with so many amazing restaurants and shopping all in walking distance!

My daughter is in her Senior year. Wow. So amazing. The school, the town, the Athletics!! So impressed. I wish I would have went here! A little expensive but the College has everything and the town of Charleston is the best!!

What a gorgeous campus! I was visiting during a time when all the college student's families were on the campus, so it was buzzing. I even ate at their cafeteria which is actually pretty good for school cafeteria food!

The campus is old and very pretty. We took an admissions tour for kicks which was fun and I'd recommend doing even without a prospective student. It's close to downtown and you can incorporate your visit into a greater walk around Charleston.

Lots of character. Lots of downtown traffic constantly driving through the middle of campus. Lots of homeless folks ready to share your meal and ask for change. VERY, VERY noisy day and night.

If I wasn't 34 and English I would definitely go to College here!! If I get reincarnated as an American baby (assuming reincarnation may be possible!) then I'm going to try to remember how good this place was so that American Baby Me can badger my parents in to letting me go here. Ok so I didn't do any classes,... More

I really liked the baseball stadium at College of Charleston. It was well kept up and taken care of with plenty parking.

I am extremely excited after visiting the campus a handful of times within the last couple years. It is close to anything you need, smack dab in the middle of downtown. All the buildings are nice and even the water fountains have water-bottle filling stations installed by the sustainability club. After going to orientation, I see people are very nice:... More
