This was our first time visiting Charleston and Joyce was a wonderful tour guide. She amazed us with her knowledge and facts of the town. It was a chilly but sunny afternoon which make the walk around town that much more enjoyable. Thank You Joyce!

Joyce did an amazing job. I had to take the opportunity to review her so everyone knows how great she is. The day was cloudy but we got to take some great pictures. Joyce learned everyone's name at the start of the tour and made everyone feel special and included. She answered all questions and had such a vast knowledge... More

We took this walking tour with Joyce as our guide and she was tremendous. Her enthusiasm for the city and its history was contagious and everyone in our group enjoyed the 2 hours, which flew by. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning about the city beyond the restaurants and shops.

Joyce was a terrific tour guide. Her enthusiasm for Charleston just exudes. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area . She is also a photographer so she has many suggestions for "framing" the photos one takes around the city. Most enjoyable and a great way to start your visit

We walked around old Charleston. Joyce showed us a lot of architecture, 300+ years of history and culture and famous landmarks in the cities. We probably walked a mile or so in total and the pace was just right. Although Joyce is very knowledgeable about everything, she takes a particular delight in pointing out architectural details like iron-work and building... More

Took this tour on Saturday, December 26th. Joyce was our Tour Guide. She was amazing and crammed SO much interesting history into our brief two hour tour of Charleston. We walked away having a much better sense of the history of this fascinating city. She truly made this tour! HIGHLY recommend Joyce and Charleston History Tours!

We had a great time. The tour was fast paced, but also slow enough to cover a lot of ground and detail. Joyce has a very positive and up-beat personality. She's well versed on the history and culture of the city, and has a genuine passion for the preservation of the architecture and historical components that make Charleston fascinating. One... More
