Description: The Schooner Pride is an authentic replica of the 18th century tall ships...
The Schooner Pride is an authentic replica of the 18th century tall ships that once dotted the Charleston Harbor carrying supplies and passengers to and from the plantations. She is USCG certified for up to 49 passengers and is the only 3 mast tall ship that offers public sails in Charleston Harbor. You can sit back and enjoy the the views and gentle ocean breeze or get involved with trimming the sails. We are not a narrated tour, but are happy to answer questions and point out interesting landmarks! Daily afternoon and sunset sails are available March - Early November. Special group sails and private charters available year round!

Great crew...started out as a nice peaceful ship ride to watch the sunset with very little chatter from the crew. A storm came up quickly and we had to return to the port.....which turned out to be s wise move on the part of Caotain Jen. Since we were out less than 45 minutes, our money was returned, no hassle,... More

Nice relaxing sailing tour in the harbor. Knowledgeable crew, but not a narrated tour. We were able to see many dolphins in the harbor. It was very hot without much relief from the sun on our 4 PM ride. 2 hours. Beverages available to buy.

We did the sunset cruise and it was great. The boat can carry up to 49 passengers. We had less than that and it was very comfortable and very clean. The staff served drinks and snacks for a small charge. The service was exceptional and they were a very capable and friendly crew. We will return for this in the... More

It helped that the weather, temperature and breeze, was perfect. The Dolphins cooperated. The sunset was on time. Friendly crew and fellow passengers.

We ran into a Squall on our trip. 1/2 hr from dock a storm blew in FAST. The captain and the might crew acted professional and made hard wise decisions. We all got back safe. When lightning started, the captain ask us to head down below for safety....and get out of the rain. While we were all down there (20... More

The captain and crew were seasoned professionals and even in the face of a major storm were able to keep calm and get us safely to the dock. Great experience and we will definitely do it again.

This is a fun mini-adventure for any couple or family. The crew is Marvelous. It can be quite romantic and it seems to attract the nicest people.
