Description: The Schooner Pride is an authentic replica of the 18th century tall ships...
The Schooner Pride is an authentic replica of the 18th century tall ships that once dotted the Charleston Harbor carrying supplies and passengers to and from the plantations. She is USCG certified for up to 49 passengers and is the only 3 mast tall ship that offers public sails in Charleston Harbor. You can sit back and enjoy the the views and gentle ocean breeze or get involved with trimming the sails. We are not a narrated tour, but are happy to answer questions and point out interesting landmarks! Daily afternoon and sunset sails are available March - Early November. Special group sails and private charters available year round!

We sailed the weekend of 3/7/15 ... sure the beautiful weather was a plus ... sure seeing several dophin sightings was more than advertised ... and yet, the crew's knowledge, friendliness, and hospitality was above and beyond expectations. My husband is an avid sailor of over 40 years, and he enjoyed talking with a crew that could meet him fact... More

I wanted to sail off into the sunset and never get off this boat! The crew was fantastic and we had the perfect day for sailing. My little one got a bit chilly once we got out into the harbor and one of the crew brought him a blanket. Very nice touch!

A great time in the bay by Charleston. It was a beautiful day and sailing out on the bay was a great experience! The crew of the Schooner Pride were knowledgeable and would tell you about the areas we were sailing past. We even came close to Fort Sumter. Definitely a memorable time and highly recommend!

I decided to surprise my husband with a ride on the Schooner Pride as he loves all things boating & sailing. He Loved it!! This was my first time on any kind of Sail boat so was really excited to see what it was all about. Now this isn't a tour boat the staff is very knowledgeable and more then... More

The Schooner is a replica of a 18th century tall ship. I booked on line, a 2 hour sailing, we only had 9 people, the Schooner probably holds 4 times that many; but the weather was cold. It was sunny and windy. Where you go depends on the breeze and the Captain. You could tell him what you wanted to... More

This was the second time I took out-of-town visitors on The Schooner Pride sunset cruise. They remarked how great it was. The boat is a replica of a trading ship. Don't be afraid to volunteer to help raise the sails; you do it together with a crew member, it is fun and easy. It was a chilly afternoon but we... More

I took the two hour sailing tour on a recent warm fall day. I was able to book it the night before the sail. This was one of the best parts of my recent vacation. It was so relaxing sailing around Charleston Harbor and being able to see the city from a different perspective. The crew was very patient answering... More

We had visitors to Charleston for the first time and took them on an afternoon Schooner Pride sail, something we had never done before. We took our own snacks and bought wine and beer on the boat. The schooner's two hour trip direction somewhat depends on the breeze, and the captain asking the passengers which way they would like to... More

it was a beautiful afternoon. Crew was very nice. We thought there would be more scenery. Drinks were very expensive. $20 for 2 beers and a soda. But recommended.

Took this lovely harbor tour aboard the beautiful Schooner Pride. It is extremely relaxing, with breathtaking views and lots of room to stretch out. Only drawback, if you see it that way, is there is no narration and the crew doesn't talk a lot. There is a charge for all drinks and snacks, so be prepared. All in all, a... More
