She is USCG certified for up to 49 passengers and is the only 3 mast tall ship that offers public sails in Charleston Harbor. You can sit back and enjoy the the views and gentle ocean breeze or get involved with trimming the sails. We had to reschedule our trip from a previous visit to Charleston, but it proved to be worth it! The crew members were wonderful and answered any questions asked. Do not expect a narrated tour, but do enjoy a nice relaxing sunset!

We took a sunset cruise on the Schooner Pride and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The captain and her crew were very professional and personable. They patiently fielded every question we asked about the boat, sailing terminology and the landmarks we saw around the harbor. It is not a tour, because the wind dictates where and how far you can... Pleasant and very easy to do-- just purchase tickets online, get to the harbor site (we took a taxi from our hotel) walk down a sidewalk to the schooner, and the mates check you in. It really took just a minute to board the boat. Once on the boat, there's not a lot of walking around, just find a comfortable... More

Of course it is easier to have an enjoyable ride on a schooner when there are good winds, which is what we had. But we had a very enjoyable and relaxing cruise, one of the definitive highlights of our vacation. The crew was very nice and accommodating. But more importantly, The Pride was terrific. It was very relaxing and worth... More

This was a great relaxing time. We chose to take the 4pm-6pm tour in hopes that it wouldn't be as hot. It was warm, but not like it was earlier in the day. We went on 7/2/2014, so whomever the captain and her two crewmates were-Great Job! I forget their names. There were 13 guests on the boat-nice as well,... More

Been coming to Charleston for years and have done many tours. This was truely one of the best. The crew was amazing. It is a sail boat so conditions often dictate the trip. Found it very relaxing.

Pretty awesome I think to just go online and for a very modest cost book an outing on a four-masted schooner! My guests from out-of-town said it was their favorite thing about their visit. It was a sunset cruise on Father's Day. We brought a picnic, beer and wine were served promptly. The crew was nice but not in your... More

Was an amazingly peaceful adventure. Dolphins joined us. The crew were knowledgeable and willing to answer all our questions. They even let us steer the ship and help raise and lower the sails!
