The day we visited has a heat index of over 100 degrees, so being able to sit in an air conditioned space with large windows was great for my family. We didn't miss out on anything by not being out in the open. There is a snack bar with very reasonable prices for snacks and drinks. The crew is marvelous... More

The crew on the " The Bell" was great. As an retired school teacher, I found the tour educational. For Ft Sumter, the pirates and numerous points of interests, we were given many tidbits not found in history books. The day was scorching, but the air condition made the tour most pleasant The wheel master was quite entertaining. ONLY negative:... More

Nice surprise on a very hot day. We decided to go downtown (Charleton) and take the harbor tour. Beautiful breeze and great narrator. Steve was full of information (some we know and learned some new facts) and not boring. We saw a few dolphins enjoying the day. We enjoyed a previous trip to Fort Sumter. This is a most do.

It was really hot, but being on the boat was very comfortable with the breeze. We managed to score a table and a couple of extra chairs to put our feet up, so we kicked back with a couple of drinks and enjoyed the ride. There were some cool things to see - and we got a bonus of seeing... More

We enjoyed this boat ride. It was comfortable. Even though it was a hot day, the cool breeze was refreshing. The captain was friendly and enthusiastic explaining the history of the area. Bar and snacks were not extremely overpriced.....$5 range for a beer or hot dog. If you got hot, you could go to the lower deck where it was... More

The captain/guide was very knowledgeable and provided an entertaining overview of noteworthy historical points in the Charleston harbor. We sighted several dolphins on the one and a half hour tour. Definitely time and money well spent!

We like to take boat trips to see local sites when on holiday and really enjoyed this one. The captain was amusing and knowledgeable, the boat spacious and comfortable and the refreshments plentiful and not too pricey. It is a very relaxing trip, to the extent that my husband began snoozing and so missed some of the sites, and on... More

My daughters and I came to Charleston on a mini vacation but on a limited budget. We wanted a tour where we could see several sites for one price. I even saved $3.00 due to my AAA membership. We got to see Fort Sumpter, the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier, the Arthur Ravenal, Jr. Bridge, some beautiful homes, and even some... More

We had a really nice time on this tour. The Captain was knowledgable ref the area and very entertaining. The bar onboard was limited but good. The only draw back I would say about this tour is that there should be an age limit for children. There were 4-5 young girls in front of us taking up preimere seating and... More

Craig made this tour fun with some good information without being too scripted (unlike the bus tour we took the day before through Adventure Tours). We don't usually take organized tours but it had been rainy off and on that weekend and pretty humid, so we thought a boat ride might be nice. You can sit on the upper deck... More
