Stunning old and well preserved church in one of the best shoreline areas in South Carolina. If you are lucky, you will be ushered around with one of the best parishonners there who is filled with beautiful stories about this wonderful landmark.

Lovely church and cemetery. The day we visited a very welcoming & knowledgeable Docent was on hand to give us the history of the church and answer questions.

It's a history lesson in itself just walking around the cemetery. The church itself is also quite beautiful. Even the non-religious like myself will find the history and beauty worth the stop.

Quaint Episcopalian church in town. We were met by a very elderly docent who gave a detailed verbal tour of the building.

A 300 year old church - how much more historic can it get? Free organ recitals at noon on Fridays. The church and graveyard were used as a hospital during the Civil War. I rated as excellent, but it won't let me rate any higher than Very Good.

St. Helena's Episcopal Church Cemetery has graves dating back to the 1700s. We were looking for Sheriff Ed McTier's grave site and saw it, along with those of many historical families from Beaufort..

We had taken a carriage ride around the old historical center of Beaufort, South Carolina. Our guide pointed out this church and suggested we return later to visit the church graveyard as well as inside the church building. We were looking for something to do later that day and "What the heck!" Why not go by the church. Great decision.... More

What a privilege to receive a tour of the church by Molly (born and raised in Beaufort) today (July 16). She regaled us with stories, history of Beaufort and more. Made this stop-by worthwhile.
