I was apprehensive. A Kazoo Factory? Come on, really? What a waste of time...I thought. We went anyway. It took me less than 3 minutes to 'get-into-it'...great time. The staff are all delightfully cheerful and fun. You will really enjoy Mel. She was our tour guide...funny, pretty, and she can play all the different Kazoos. There really is a history... More

If you are near Hilton Head Island in SC, and you have some time, take a short ride to Beaufort. Not only is it a very nice little historic city on the waters of SC with lots of nice shops and restaurants but it is the home of the Kazoo Factory that has its own museum and interesting history. You... More

My wife and I visited the factory in hopes of finding something for our grandson. We didn't know what to expect, but we had a great time. Tara did an outstanding job of demonstrating and talking about the factory and the instruments. We bought several items and are very sure our grandson is going to enjoy his presents.

This tiny tour is worth your time. We smiled the whole time we were there. The video about the kazoo is kitschy and a hoot. Melanie was great and did not even crack a smile as she demonstrated the various tonal sound of kazoos. The tour itself takes 10 minutes at max and you meet all 3 workers. We left... More

Build your own kazoo here at this wonderful little museum, gift shop and factory. For a small price you get a great tour, small movie and tour of how the kazoo is built. It truly brought a smile to my lips! Located in an industrial park on the edge of tow it was a little hard to find but truly... More

Went to the kaazoo factory on a random trip. Our tour guide was Tara. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Kazoos. They where currently trying to push out 25,000 kazoos for a company!! That's a lot. So many different colors and attachments for kazoos even one for a amp, which i thought was awesome. At the... Great fun and very informative!! Melody greeted us and showed us over to the museum section. After that we saw a cute video. Then Melody gave a little talk and demonstrated various kazoo type instruments. Next came a tour of the factory. At the conclusion of the tour we were able to assemble our own kazoo. There were five of... More
