They take care of their horses extremely well and all the horses are retired Amish haul horses who are used to pulling a lot more weight. Our horse Rocky was so good he did not need a bit and had the route memorized perfectly.... More

We read about this tour upon arriving to Cuthberth House Inn. Tara from the Inn called and got us our tickets and was such a breeze. We arrived early and walked around their parking lot and the dock while seeing the carriages come and go. Our buggy was only for 4 people and it was like having our own designated... More

We had the opportunity to have a tour of historic Beaufort in an open carriage pulled by the handsome Jake, who obviously loves his job, as much as Charlotte the tour guide loves Beaufort and Jake! We were treated to details about the families and the beautiful antebellum homes that fill downtown Beaufort, one of the towns not burned by... More

A horse drawn ride slows you down long enough to really see the beautiful old buildings of Beaufort. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. we love taking these tours!

Our buggy driver, Sue, was full of information about the history of Beaufort and interesting facts and detail about the old houses we saw. She told interesting stories. The tour went at a quiet pace giving plenty of time to see what Sue was describing. She involved her guests by asking questions and encouraging participation. This definitely worth the time... More

We had a great time on this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. She was also accurate with her facts (something that is a must for me on tours...). The horse was gentle and slow. It was well worth the money spent.

We took the second tour of the day for which there were only six people. The guide was a very nice and knowledgeable young lady who was well versed in the history and stories of the houses, families and celebrities of the area. We also had a horse that ate Spanish Moss at any opportunity!. Steps are provided to get... More

Our guide was young with quite the personality. Our horse "Newman" listened well to her. Our buggy was full, but we could see & hear all the historical or funny stories told. A carriage tour is always a treat when going to a lovely city filled with such history & charm.

Driver was very knowledgeable. Tour was very interesting and we saw all the historic sites of Beaufort. We took the 4:40 pm tour and on a Saturday it was very peaceful with not much traffic on the road.
