When I walked in the door, my nose was met with the sweet smell of candy. They have a lot to offer, including a viewing window to the factory and supplies to make your own chocolate treats. For visitors, they offer a free chocolate sand dollar. If you don't care for chocolate, they have many other candies too. I bought... More

This wasn't amazing but it was good. We went in but after ordering the ones we picked out and coming home, we realized that they hadn't given us the right ones. I don't think I'll be going to back for their chocolate at all.

I've been a few times and they always have delicious and interesting things for sale. Perfect if you're looking to get a gift for someone. They even have chocolate dentist sets. The boxed assorted chocolates are probably the best you can buy. Forget the Russell Stover's garbage.

On a 3 day weekend to Beaufort, I went twice. If it was open Sunday morning I probably would have gone again. I guess I should have stocked up better the first time, but it is such a fun shop to go to who cares how many times you go? I got bulk chocolate in the back of the shop... More

Stopped here while in Beaufort, absolutely loved it - while we were there one of the employees came out with a beater coated with fresh made marshmallow for us to try - after tasting it had to buy some chocolate covered marshmallow squares which were fantastic. Bought multiple different kinds of chocolate and was not disappointed by any of them.... More

Then good enough for us! The only bummer was that we did a day trip and missed out on their annual "all you can eat for a flat rate" special. Very good chocolate, a bit off the main street with friendly staff that will help you decide on which decadent dessert you want to indulge in.

The aroma as we walked in was intoxicating! The kids loved being able to see the chocolates being made in the next room, too. Everything we tried was excellent, with the exception of the sea salt caramels that my husband felt were too salty. The Caramallows were incredible as were the blueberry pomegranate creams and raspberry marshmallows. I liked that... More

A must on our last trip back down from VA. to Fla. ! Brought the g-kids & could not get enough! Had the covered apples, but unfortunately never got a bite. You can watch the kitchen workers do their stuff making yummy chocolate. Will be there again next time up north. The fudge choices were hard to decide on ...so we... More

I am a chocolate snob, so keep that in mind when reading my review. My daughter saw the billboard for The Chocolate Tree, so we made a point of visiting; we visit EVERY candy shop we come across. In her words, the shop lacked "pizzazz". I agree. The staff was very nice, but I'm almost positive their fudge is the... More
