You absolutely MUST stop into this wonderland when in Beaufort!!!! It was pouring rain the day we had to bale on a walking tour and we passed The Chocolate Tree on our way into town, before the deluge began. So we figured, let's salvage this soggy mess and we caught a parking spot right in front on our way out... More

Delicious, one word says it all. Very nice staff, with chocolate to die for. Definitely worth the stop.

I was looking for dessert so I decided to pay this place a visit. When you walk in you are hit with the incredible smell of warm chocolate. After standing and staring at the great selection that they have, I ordered a vanilla chocolate covered marshmallow, a few coconut clusters and a few lemon cream truffles as well as some... More

They have some unique offerings here, like a key lime jellied centered chocolate. We took home a box of assorted truffles, chocolates, etc.

This shop was recommended to me by a friend and I thank her every time I go :) ...The candy is sooooooooooooo delicious....the ladies that work there are fantastic!! And their service which can ship to someone for you is without fault..... I was told this shop was featured/part of the Tom Hanks movie, Forrest Gump and each time I... More

If you like chocolate you'll want to stop here for a treat. My favorite was the toffee....but I liked it all. You can watch them making the chocolate through the front window. The service was friendly and helpful.

I stopped in to redeem a free chocolate sand dollar on my first visit. Now when the urge strikes, I go in for a pound of above average chocolate covered nuts and jellies. That's all I've ever tried because I buy what I love. The variety of nuts and the three types of chocolates to choose from is a dream... More

Just moved to Beauford, went to Chocolate Tree to buy my grandchildren Easter Bunnies. In reaching for the bunny on the shelf a nearby larger bunny fell breaking a small piece off. Apparently the owner was standing right next to me and said "you broke it. You bought it. I had to buy a $15 chocolate bunny...I am still reeling... More

Wow! There was never a place that made so many variations of chocolates! Make sure to give yourself time to look through this shop. Although I would definitely try to go here during the week since the facility is rather small. I was kindly bumped A lot during our weekend drop in and I knew we had to come back... More

This jewel was pointed out to us during a van tour of Beaufort. The staff at this store did tell us that chocolates were bought there during the filming of Forrest Gump by the crew. The staff were very friendly and the chocolates delicious. Right across the street from the First African Baptist Church...another spot that was used in the... More
