Lived here when I was a kid. My dad was the last lighthouse keeper before they automated the lighthouse. Watch Hill is a beautiful Northern Seaside Town with a carousel and all kinds of cool shops. You'll pass Taylor Swifts house on the walk to the Lighthouse. Just an awesome place to go fish or walk around.

The Lighthouse is a nice walk from the main street in Watch Hill. Seniors can access it by car. The wonderful open view of East Beach and Napatree Point takes your breath away. It is a nice place for a picnic but be sure to carry out what you bring in!

This stately structure is a "beacon" of American history. It sits on a promontory overlooking a gorgeous beach and near the top rated Resort Hotel in America, the Ocean House, It is reached by a short drive from the lovely Watch Hill Harbor,

The area around the lighthouse was under construction and since it private property it can be only reviewed from a distance. About a 15 minute walk from the street, but over 65 and handicapped can drive up to the parking are in front of the light house.

My friend and I were visiting Foxwoods Casino and we learned that the Rhode Island border was very close. I had never been to RI so I looked to see what was close the CT border. I was thrilled to see this lighthouse was close. I love lighthouses! We have been to several in Maine and we make it a... More

A nice walk..seeing how the "other half" live before you get to the lighthouse. I was disapointed the light house was fenced in and we could only see it from afar after all that walking. The views are beautiful however.

This was a very nice walk. The homes are beautiful and there is a really nice garden with beautiful flowers and butterflies. After the lighthouse walk, there's public access to the beach on the opposite side of Taylor Swift's house. The beach is very nice.

The Watch Hill Lighthouse is a must to go to when in Watch Hill, RI. The walk to the lighthouse from the center of town is a sight in itself. The lighthouse is located on the southerly most point of RI. The private street leading to the lighthouse snakes around the upscale neighborhood with gorgeous houses. Taylor Swift's white mansion... Nice place to check out. We drove down, despite the signs saying no parking, and found a lot that holds at least 10 cars, with a few people fishing. I enjoyed being able to look back at the shoreline to get a better overview of the area and see the beautiful mansions.
