We offer public hours, special events, classes, field trips, in-class programs, and birthday parties.

We have a membership to Biomes and we visit a lot!! There are many things to do including touch tanks, a play area, games, ocean theme activities and much more. There is always something new to do each time we go. My daughter's favorite part is the Nemo Tank 🐠

We are here for a birthday party and what a place this is. There are a wide variety of sea creatures from fish to lobster to sharks. All of the sea life is rescued from Narragansett Bay. This is an excellent hands on learning experience for the whole family. Our 5 and 4 year olds loved it. Worth a visit...easily... More

My children, my husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed this place. The kids had a blast while learning through hands on education. My youngest spent a lot of time in the playroom and loved it. Our visit was for several hours including the interesting demonstrations that are given throughout the entire day. Admission was more than reasonable .. We will visit... More

Went with a preschooler and a 4th grader. The former found the playroom and wanted to spend most of her time there, while her older sibling visited each exhibit and was done in an hour. The place was essentially one really large room filled with various tanks and activity tables. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. While this site was closest,... More

I went here with my sister and my 3 year old daughter and we all enjoyed this place a lot. They have lots of animals to touch and see. They also have some little activities for the kids to get into like a sandbox, Lego's, building blocks and a closed off area with books, coloring pages, puzzles, and toys for... More

We love Biomes! Exhibits are very hands on and staff is very knowledgable and friendly. The owner is wonderful and very passionate about what he does. He really takes the time out to talk to you. We have a family membership and it is well worth it! It's a great place to come and spend the afternoon. Never too crowded... More
