Beautiful beach, temperate water, moderate waves. Yes it's crowded. Don't go here if you think you're going to have privacy. It's a popular beach people. It's not a Hampton's crowd. Parking for out of state is high though...$20 on weekdays and a ridiculous $28 on weekends. Sure beats Hammo or Rocky Neck in my home state of CT though for... More

It's just too crowded - people smoked, played loud music and unfortunately, were right on top of each other......never again unless later in the evening for me.

We were disappointed with this beach, it was a little dirty not the water and there was a smell like sewage. I wouldn't recommend because there are so many other beaches

It was incredibly hot inland, so we found lovely relief at Scarborough Beach. There's a nice little strip of sand, amenities and grest seafood restaurants nearby.

Beach is in beautiful area. Beach is clean and has lifeguards are on duty until 6. Only complaint is that you pay to $20 per car for out of state and $10 pet car for Rhode Islanders, that's during a weekday!!!!! Then there is limited snacks to purchase so if you're staying all day then bring lunch. They have great... More

Very nice beach with everything you need. Food, bathroom, waves, parking. I had a great time at this beach, is a busy place but at least you can find parking right there which is $20 per car.

Discovered Scarborough Beach last year at friends suggestion. It's just wonderful. Parking is cheap. Beach gets a lot of visitors, but mostly on weekends, Sunday is quieter than Saturday. Park not busy at all in the mornings and is wonderful for early morning stroll. Beach is sandy and bath houses are clean and easy to access. Great place for family... More

Scarborough Beach was the best in the Narragansett area. Clean beach without the added expense of paying to go on the beach. We were local, so we could ride our bikes to the beach and saved on the $20 per day charge. They did allow us to enter and drop off people.

We went on a weekday in June and this place was pretty busy so like other reviews have said, not the beach for people looking for quiet. Overall it was a nice, the beach was clean and everybody was pretty respectful of everyone else. There were a lot of families on the beach. The lifeguards were attentive to what was... More

We only spent a few hours but really love Scarborough Beach North. If heading to RI again we would go straight to this beach. We didn't use any of the facilities but spent a nice time having a little Sunset walk on the beach. Nice and sandy and lots of friendly people and it didn't cost us a fortune like... More
