Location only. Everything else was in negative numbers. Bathrooms were not clean or functioning for that matter. Felt totally uncomfortable with the treatment from the very first minutes. The children rangers were on a power trip as subscribed by guests in next lot. Had not even shut off the forty foot rig when I exited the rig to see my... More

We have stayed here in September for two years now and are most impressed with the quiet beauty of the camp ground and this area of R.I. As others have said, the sites are quite different. We have a pop up tent and have had the same site 177 in area 4. There is a lot of privacy in this... More

At the risk of sharing one of our favorite campgrounds and increasing the competition to get into this campground, Fishermen's is flat out awesome! The sites are varied, depending on what kind of rig you have but it's big rig friendly with full hookups, beautiful views and spotless grounds, you can't go wrong here. It's close to the phenomenal state... More

nice layout for the tent area. very family oriented and convenient to local beaches and sights. clean facilities with carry in/carry out eco friendly camping. a larger tent and a larger group would have felt cramped but it was fine for me. i can see that reservations would be a must during the high season.

We have been camping at Fishermen's Memorial State Park & Campground for many years, and I remains one of my favorite places! It is extremely well maintained, clean & pleasant. There are 4 sections, one is strictly for RV vehicles (with water & electricity), and one is basically for tents & small campers (no water or electricity). The remaining 2... More

We loved that this park was located within walking distance of a small fishing village. It has a neat military history, and you can go clamming just by walking out into the muck during low tide. The beach is a short drive away. Nice quiet place for families.

We used to camp here when the children were little upon the recommendation of a friend. It has several bath houses scattered throughout the campground. It has winding roads with hedgerows separating areas. Many of the campsites are grass covered. Camp sites are close together, but large enough for our tent and large screen house. Two interesting features are the... More

The park is only about 1 mile from Scarborough State Beach and makes an affordable and acceptable base camp for visits here or for a trip to Block Island. This is one of the poorest State Parks we have stayed in. For clarification we stayed in Tent Area 3 which is worse than some other areas in this park. This... More
