The two of us went on a guided kayak tour with Ron from Narrow River. This was our first time kayaking. Ron and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The weather was perfect and Ron took the time to not only show us boating technique, he also is skilled in coastal marine life and knows the history of the... More

various family members have done this for years, and we enjoy going back each summer, staff very friendly and helpful, as we usually have "newcomers - kids usually" to kayaking, we sometimes share a kayak (we buy like 5-7 boat rentals), and they don't seem to mind - they also have paddleboards the kids like to explore the sandbars and... Nice company, good fun, nice people renting, and great prices. We would do it all over again in a minute!

My husband and I spent two hours paddling about in our own kayaks and loved it! The narrow river leads to the ocean and the Narragansett beach area. Absolutely perfect. The water is not really that deep and you get a good work out paddling against the current! The workers are very knowledgeable and very pleasant and helpful! Enjoyed the... More

Great place for beginner kayaking and exploring marshes on narrow river. Ron gave us a good tour and description of the area. The narrow river is easy paddling if you follow the tides. Go down the the beach and get over to Goose Berry Island climb and around. Staff does a great job. By the time we were done the... More

Picture perfect! First time kayakers, (2 kids 8 & 12, and 2 adults) we took a guided kayak trip in the early morning - planned with the tides for easy paddling. A quick 5 minute lesson and we were off, down river then up, Ron was affable and knowledgable about local flora, fauna and legend. Kids loved it and so did... More

I have now kayaked at Narrow Rivers 3 times and everytime has been enjoyable. The river is calm and leads to a great small beach that is never really crowded. It is well worth doing a 4 hour kayak rental, get off at the beach and relax before heading back. Kayaking level is fairly easy for even children.

My friends and I had an awesome time on the sunrise tour. Ron, our guide, led us on our kayak tour and was very knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend them if you are in the area!

We usually rent kayaks once a year and go sown river to the beach. We always get at least one sit on top so we can ride the waves with the kayak (tipping over is half the fun). Need to time leaving and returning with tide or you will be paddling against the current. Great way to spend a summer... More
