Great views of the ocean. I hate that there is a length of metal fencing around the property but understand that everything has changed since 9-11. If you drive to the right of the lighthouse you can park your car and take a nice long walk along the rocky shore. Look back for a much better view of the lighthouse.... More

The lighthouse was really cool although there was nothing else in the area. I was told the sunrise there was very nice.

One of the ordinary lighthouses here in the east coast, unable to enter to gets a close view, it gets windy and cold even in the summer afternoon , a light sweater will be good to wear...no fishing area.

There is a fence surrounding the area stating protected by homeland security. We were unable to find a way in to see the lighthouse. There is a nice park nearby that we sat and watched the waves for awhile.

We were confused... From reading other reviews I thought you could walk up to the lighthouse and go inside but we couldn't find a way to get up close to it. It is surrounded by an unwelcoming fence. There's a parking lot nearby where you can sit and get a pretty view of the ocean, but in my opinion that's... More

This was a nice place for a quintessential New England photo. We were able to get onto the grounds of the lighthouse for a photo op with our dog, which was really fun! It does tend to be about 10-15 degrees cooler here than farther inland, take a sweater just in case!

Point Judith Lighthouse is one of the few lighthouses in the area that you can actually visit. Many lighthouses are off limits, but at Point Judith, people are free to walk around the exterior grounds. The views from here are spectacular. A great place to relax and just enjoy the view. We usually visit here a couple times a year.

This is a very picturesque lighthouse with parking nearby. However it appears that there is shoreline reconstruction going on right now and there are many construction trailers in front of it. I am sure when the restoration is complete it will once again be quite beautiful.

This is one of the nicest views on the east coast. Looking at the surfers, watching sail boats, fishing boats, pleasure seakers, Block Island makes you realize how beautiful the ocean is. People have been sailing past this exact location for hundreds of years. Nothing better tahn taking it all in!

This is a great spot to just sit and watch the waves and the surfers always cool with a beautiful breeze on a really hot day
