This is one of the nicest views on the east coast. Looking at the surfers, watching sail boats, fishing boats, pleasure seakers, Block Island makes you realize how beautiful the ocean is. People have been sailing past this exact location for hundreds of years. Nothing better tahn taking it all in!

Beautiful Area to go and check out! Gorgeous views! Very peaceful atmosphere. Love to sit on the rocks and just stare out at the horizon while listening to the waves crashing on the rocks!

The lighthouse is so pretty. It is a working Coast Guard Station so you can't get really close but definitely close enough to take in the beauty of the lighthouse. The surrounding grounds are beautiful. We had a picnic there a couple of times while in RI. The sounds of the waves crashing were awesome as we ate our picnic... More

♥ Narragansett in all it's barren loveliness. Very New England. Sweeping panorama views, wild waves. Actually never did the lighthouse tour.....Quite surprised not many people get out of the car because the rocky beach can be quite a natural plethora of science..... purple blue baby lobster shells, starfish spawn, natural sea clay and much much more.

Plenty of parking, quiet sit watch the ocean, boats, ships and the occasional surfer. Bring a picnic basket and a camera. There a few benches but bring your own chair or blanket.

If you admire seascapes, crashing waves, and picturesque settings then Pt. Judith Light and its adjacent park area is for you. Parking can be difficult a times, mostly weekends and summers, but during the week you'll find locals admiring the beauty of this special place.

Very scenic and peaceful. Didn't expect the craggy/rocky beach but it was a cool experience for our teen nieces and they enjoyed it. Lots of people were there enjoying the day. We even added to the rock sculptures.
