This Lighthouse is located on the Coast Guard Station and closes at dusk. We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and witnessed a beautiful sunset. If you like lighthouses and are in the area you won't be disappointed. Great photo ops here. Also stop at Iggys Doughboy and Chowder House for a fun eating experience and some great food. Its... Going from Groton, CT to Narragansett, RI was well worth the drive it was a beautiful sky blue day. The breeze was refreshing on the drive there. When we got to Point Judith Lighthouse it was windy but I didn't mind. it did have its pauses from time to time. The view was breathtaking. Everything was blue. We walked around... More

This was a point of interest to us just to see. The gates opened at noon which permitted us to walk around the lighthouse only as it was not open to go in. There were surfers in the ocean to watch. Fun.

We had no idea what was at Point Judith but decided to drive town to the tip of the peninsula - we were happy we did! There's a large parking lot adjacent to the light house property and you can access the grounds from sunrise to sunset. The view is beautiful from the small bluff and the 150 year old... More

My husband and I visited the lighthouse the day after a storm had come through the area. The waves were pretty big. It was very windy. We enjoyed just sitting on a bench watching people flying kites, watching the boats, and the very brave people surfing. The views from around the lighthouse were really neat. The coast guard house was... More

There is a park adjacent to Point Judith Lighthouse that offers outstanding views of the lighthouse; the waves crashing on the rocks; leisure and commercial boats sailing and motoring by; and early morning surfers of all ages. Bring breakfast, lunch, dinner or evening dessert!

Kids enjoy building rock towers and walking along the tide so did the hubby. I found shells and we all relaxed together.
