This lighthouse is etched in my soul. I have loved it since my birth in 1941 when my parents first carried me there on our summer vacation at the Point. It is a symbol of all I cherish about my birthplace RHODE ISLAND!!

The views from here are stunning! Wonderful little peaceful area to watch the ocean do its thing under the watchful eye of a beautiful lighthouse.

Great light house with a great view! Beware of cliffs ;). Has a gift shop. Off the beaten track. Great for families, friends and couples..

Very scenic spot for photos not only of the lighthouse but of the rocky coastline, Cannot access the light house but you can get close enough for some photos.

Gorgeous views from a working Coast Guard base. If you're lucky you'll see the loads of surfers who play in the waves which are apparently perfect for those looking for some moderate adventure.

This is a really nice lighthouse with a parking lot and view of the coast. The only downside is it is locked up behind a fence. I'm not sure what you need to do to get on the other side of it... but seems crazy that this is public land and the public is fenced out.

As a lighthouse lover, I visit every one I can find. This one is closed off by Department of Homeland Security, so you can't get up close for pictures.

A wonderful area to view the Atlantic Ocean with the surf pounding against the rocks and surfers trying to navigate the rolling waves and with the lighthouse in the foreground and Block Island in the distance it appears you can see forever. The Rose Nulman Park used by locals and tourists is a great place to picnic or just relax... More

Beautiful, out of a storybook. High on a hill overlooking the ocean. Very calming, nice park with memorials through out. Plenty of benches to sit and relax.

beautiful setting, RI coastline. Part of my bike trip along the RI shore. You can sit here on the benches for hours and watch the waves.
