This is a beautiful public beach in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The waves were huge and great for boogie boarding. Also, the lifeguards made sure that everyone was safe. The bathrooms were totally clean. The food from the concession stand was good, and the beach was totally accessible. More

Beautiful beach to relax and the best beach for families. No drinking or ball playing keeps the crowded beach pleasurable. More

If you're in Rhode Island, this is the best beach you can visit. The beach has beautiful white sand about 1000' to the water, and a wonderful pavillion offering showers and lockers. There is an entrance fee of about $5 and a parking fee. More

The increased price for both parking and beach access is excessive but it's the best beach in the area (open to the general public). They have made a lot of renovations in the past few years to improve the facilities and the lifeguards are excellent. More

Always enjoy visits to Narragansett Beach...if they could only do something about the parking. The beach tends to get crowded on holidays, so plan accordingly. More

Went to the Narragansett Beach in mid-April to check it out with the family. Not very busy, but still a few familes and couples wandering the beach, nice breeze and sunshine, but a little chilly. Large parking lots near the beach area, didn't notice any snack shops or public restrooms as other posts have mentioned, but this could be seasonal.... More

There was plenty of free parking adjacent to the beach on a gorgeous hot day in April. The sand was soft and clean; the ocean water was very cold with great waves. The beach was large and crowded with young people enjoying school vacation on a very hot day in April! More
