This is a great experience. See grapes on the vine. See phases of the wine making process. Experience wine tasting. I recommend Newport Vineyards.

Visited on a lovely Indian Summer afternoon 09/2014. Pretty setting but somewhat commercial and not at all for those that want to be educated on the wines that they are sampling and the winemaking process. With all due respect, we I did not do the tour simply because of the hour that we arrived. This experience was more of: buy... More

I had looked forward to this all day. It would be my last top before the Airport. What a disorganized mess. A Tour had just completed and they only had half the bar open. The outside part was closed. Why??? It was an an absolutely beautiful day. Sun shining, around 72 degrees. Autumn peeking through. Beautiful Vineyards. The Inside Bar... More

We are veteran visitors to Newport Vineyards and had always included a trip there in our itinery. I believe in their early years, when their first wine Great White was introduced that the tasting was included with the tour and was free, but a charge for a souvenir glass if you wanted one. Up to now when the tasting is... More

After a day of wandering around Newport, we decided to stop at Newport Vineyards on our way home. We had heard that there would be live music outside from 2-5 PM. A little wine & a little music seemed like the perfect way to end the day. Being our first time there, we stopped at the front desk to find... More

I visited the vineyard with a couple of friends on 8/28/14. The 2 employees who handled our wine tasting were absolutely awesome. The wine tasting was $12 (the most expensive vineyard I have been to) for 5 wines of your choice. The wine was good and there are so many options to choose from. After our tasting we went to... More

We completely enjoyed our visit to the Newport Vineyards. We arrived around 11:15 and had missed the 11:00 tour so we started with the tastings....a little early but we had eaten breakfast early. The tastings were $12 for a sampling of 5 different wines. The staff was helpful in making selections- the wines were surprisingly good. We purchased 2 bottles.... More

Newport Vineyards is a short drive from Newport and worth a side trip. The tastings are relatively inexpensive at $12 a flight of five. The tour was pleasant, if a bit brief and short on depth. My wife and I were both surprised at the quality of some of the wines we sampled and we made some purchases. The vineyard... More

My wife and I spent the later part of an afternoon at the Newport vineyard. We did the tasting and the tour - the tour was quite complete. The tourguide was very new and did a good job of keeping up with those on the tour determined to show how much they know about wine (seems every tour has them).... More

My friend and I arrived in the Newport area early to meet an old friend for lunch and discovered the Newport Winery and thought it would be a good way to pass some time before my friend Erin was available for lunch. The Newport Winery is a small winery on Route 138 in Middletown, RI and is a nice little... More
