A fascinating historic early American house museum. But I especially love the fact that the museum keeps the spirit of philosophical inquiry established by its colonial resident, Bishop Berkeley alive through its program of resident philosophers.

It seems that on every trip, you come across one outstanding historically significant marvelous hidden gem, and Whitehall Museum House was that for me. We enjoy our free time by visiting and learning about historical residences and those people who had left their mark on history. I enjoy photographing historical buildings and this was very convenient, as well as having the connection with the English philosopher Bishop Berkeley. The museum inside was closed for the season but a lady connected with the site happened to be stopping by and was kind enough to give me a tour. The tour is definitely worth it for learning about...
