The weather was so nice in December, we stopped here to let the kids play and have last look at the Atlantic for the year. Beautiful day, people with their kids and pets enjoying the day. I love to see dogs being able to run free for a change. We even saw two people on horses go by. They we... More

Really nice beach. Great location. Maybe not as crowded as surrounding beaches . Has nice snack bar and easy parking..only negative is the red seaweed that comes frequently

Very friendly and clean beach. The view is beautiful. The wildlife is very abundant especially the bird sanctuary across the street.

This is a true gem in middletown R.I.. The sand is a little clay like and easy to walk on. The beaches are clean as is the water with incredible views. Sometimes there is a red algae in on some of the beach. Were you will need to more from one side to the other. The view from the beach... More

Went to beach with wife and 2 little ones. Very nice, quiet. Only bad thing was done sorry of red seaweed causing the water to turn red by shore, but it was cool and kids just played in sand anyway. Nice or of the way beach to just go and relax

This beach is only 1 hour or so from Massachusetts' Southern Middlesex County which makes it very accessible and an easy ride any day of the week. The facilities are clean and plentiful. My kids (teens) love the snack bar - soft serve ice cream and frozen lemonade are the favorites. Besides the main bathroom facilities there are multiple port-a-potttys... More

This beach was very close to our hotel and it was nice to have a walk in a small town then arrive at the beach in a few minutes. The waves were strong though and the sand not white but the experience is one of a kind.

Excellent sandy beach. Bathrooms are fine, changing facility is fine, showers are fine. Parking is $10, as I recall.
