The Fantastic Umbrella Factory is a group of shops on a wildly manicured piece of land. There are typically animals in the back paddock and goldfish in the fountain. I have lived in Rhode Island most of my life and just discovered this hidden gem! The stores are old buildings (there are about 4 or 5 in total) and have great hand made jewelry, sundresses, sunglasses, scarfs, pocket books, a big assortment of international items and much much more! Awesome little village. They have a cute little boutique at the entrance, a great coffe shop with the best carrot cake I've ever tasted, an artwork store housed with local artists' work, friendly people, peacocks!, and a great place to sit and relax. Love to visit the Fantastic Umbrella Factory!! Love the grounds, the restaurant (sit out back if you can) and of course all the little shops. It is a very unique place and a must do if you're in the area. more

Nothing what I expected, the shops are great- wonderful hand made things, friendly employees- the stores do seem to get repetitive. The true glamor of the place is the gardens, you could loose your self in the beautiful place for hours. more

The Umbrella factory, not only has an unusual name it is a special place like no other..Once you enter the garden pathways, it is like going back in time to a fantasy world. .Small farm birds roam the property..free range foraging for food..or just preening their feathers..As you go through the barns, you find treasures and pleasures...everything from A to... more

Greetings I would have to say that it is one of the best places i hve been down there the gardens are butiful and the shops are great if u like reggae or afrcan art there is a great shop there that one is my fav so if u havent been go there are so many things to see there... more
