this is the best place in the area to relax. Keep in mind that any trash you bring in you'll need to bring out. It is beautiful, plenty of parking. Huge so it is easy to find a spot that isn't crowded. A must see for any locals or visitors. More

It's green, it's flat, it's got trees and it borders a cove. Overall, it's pretty uninteresting. Summer weekends feel like right at home in Cape Verde. More

Colt State Park is a lovely waterfont park, that has an abundance of picnick tables, wood grills and pavillions. There's restrooms available too. The park itself is mostly grass, but has access to a little bit of beach (very little bit). Its a great place to watch the sunset. The East Bay Bike path goes through and around this park,... More

This is a huge park and no matter how busy it is there is always plenty of space for a quiet walk in the woods or by the water. It's also a great place to walk your dog or to take a picnic; there are plenty of picnic areas and tables etc. Highly recommended as a place to get away... More

very clean, gorgeous state park with lovely beach area. The boat ramp has ample parking. Bristol Town Beach next to Colt State is beautiful too with playground & picnic areas, use same entrance to Colt State Park. More

It is a park with a nice bike path, very small beach, but lots of grassy areas for having a picnic, kite flying, or taking a nap. Myself, I would prefer the ocean shoreline. More
