On Friday April 26 we visited the Blithwold Mansion and gardens in Bristol Rhode Island. The former seaside summerhouse that is now open to the pubic was celebrating “Daffodil Days”. I recently had the pleasure to visit Blithewold Mansion and Gardens. The self-guided tour was interesting and informative. I very much enjoyed being able to view the exhibits, rooms, and gardens at my own pace. Two very helpful ladies were available in the mansion to answer questions. Each provided interesting details about the Van Wickle family history and their home.... more

We visited Blithewold Mansion and Gardens in Bristol, RI during Daffodil Days this past April 2006. Daffodil Days is an event held each year at Blithewold for a 3 week period in April.
