We have been to Mansion beach for beach parties and it sure is a nice beach but the best beach on the island for body surfing and everything else is Rouse's beach just north of Scotch Beach. It is not as crowded as Mansion and the parking is better. Short path to the water and you're in beach heaven.

We biked here and was worth the trip. What a beautiful beach, just like home we thought! Nice and big so people aren't on top of you. Great find!

An easy to miss access road to Mansion beach is worth the diligence to find. This beach which is at the northern end of Crescent Beach had a great view, soft sand and usually gentle waves. There are no facilities so be prepared to bring out your trash to help keep this beach so beautiful

The sights are amazing but paying to see hold houses not my thing. The properties were the size of places in Vegas. Views are amazing from everywhere and should do the walk around the outsides of the water properties

Mansion Beach is healing itself. Hopefully BI will not have to suffer another hurricane anytime soon and it will be back to the beautiful beach we have enjoyed all these years.(over 35+ years.

We went on a windy day and left after half an hour! It's a nice sandy clean beach but the wind kicked up the sand mighty fierce. We were covered in sand, and it made it unbearable to enjoy the beach. Maybe it's a great beach on a calm day but I would definitely skip it on a windy day!

There are so many beautiful beaches on the island. Maybe it was just because it was a Saturday, but it seemed like the mainland. Walk north along the shore to Clayhead beach. Much more pleasant.

I'd heard that Hurricane Sandy had stripped away the sand leaving a huge drop and lots of rocks. But it was fine.
