We ventured down the steps and rocks to this beach and it was well worth it. Not for the faint hearted at the bottom as the rocks are a bit dodgy but a really pretty spot once you make it!

The Bluffs were awesome. This is a 'must see' place on your trip to Block Island. Pros: - Amazing Views of the cliffs- breathtaking. - Quiet Beach- if you are willing to walk further down the beach (away from the steps) you will find that there is almost nobody else in sight. We found a spot where we were the... More

Gorgeous view. Trip down the stairs was fun - coming up not so easy (huff - puff). Getting to the beach itself takes a little maneuvering on the slippery rocks - be careful but the beach is nice.

If you're able to climb over 100 steps to come back up, the beach at Mohegan is well worth the effort. On low tide, you can walk a long distance along the shore, explore the tidepools, and enjoy the beautiful 180 degree views.

We hadn't vacationed on Block Island in over 20 years and when we returned with our three teens, the Bluffs were at the top of our list to visit! The scenery is just as magnificent and awe inspiring as it was two decades ago. The long staircase may be challenging for some and when you reach the bottom there is... More

This is a very scenic wooden stair case leading to a very beautiful beach. This view is amazing and one of a kind...I chose to visit Block Island as its near by main land and a nice place foe day trip. Mohegan bluffs is located at south side of the island. The lighthouse is near to the bluff and you... More

Mohegan Bluffs on the Southeast side of Block Island is gorgeous. I felt like I was out in northern, CA with the cliffs and ocean right there. The bluffs look as if they are made of rock, but they actually are made of different colors of dirt. Wind and water erosion has surely done a number on them over the... More

The best view on the entire island. You can access the beach by walking down an incredibly long staircase.

Mohegan Bluffs is one of the reasons to go to Block Island. It is a breathtaking from other nature. We enjoyed walking the beach and seeing 'what's around this corner?' You could walk all day here.

The beaches on the south side of Block Island are the most spectacular, set beneath towering cliffs. Some sections are rocky, but there are long stretches with soft sand (and vigorous waves). My husband and I had our first nude beach experience earlier this year in Florida and were looking forward to finding other beaches where nudity is acceptable (if... More
