On our tour were little day care children. The guide was so welcoming to little kiddos and involved them throughout the tour. She demonstrated how chocolates are formed in a mold. reservations are required.

When the sale section is open grab a stroll thru it as the prices are worthy to afford. Ask for samples. Overstocked pretzels in the old fashioned car need to be eaten days within opening or restored as they go stale quickly. Overall, i love stopping here when in York, to see the specials.

On a recent trip to York, PA we saw a sign for Wolfgang's and decided to stop. There was no tour that day but the saleslady was very nice. We bought candy to take home & everyone we gave it to enjoyed it. Some of the "seconds" were broken up, but that's what seconds are. We will definitely stop there... More

We were the only ones there for our tour. The staff member gave us a history of the Wolfgang Candy Company. She then showed us how she made a mold of a cow and explained the process. At the end we were given a chocolate treat. In the back room, past the offices, are items that can be purchased. This... More

We bought some candy that was had been sitting there for a while and thought about taking the tour until the young girl at the front window named Nicole was incredibly rude to our group. If that's the type of service people receive, then no wonder they went bankrupt. Never again will I buy the candy!

We took the Wolfgang Candy Company tour. We enjoyed the free tour, and received a candy treat at the end. Unfortunately, the production line was not staffed at the time of the tour, but our guide described what is normally taking place. Nice for a free tour.

This was a nice tour that we took while on a bus trip but be prepared for some walking outside the main building. Our tour guide was very informative and it was nice to see the process, but I was surprised that the chocolate is made elsewhere with their recipe and shipped back in liquid form. We were offered samples... More

we always stop here on our way to and from NY to pick up some goodies. I buy the bags of broken cookies for making pie crusts etc (and for grandkids) my husband gets a bag of pretzels and we always get some chocolate! Friendly and nice shop.
