I was very disappointed in this boat ride. I specifically wanted to take this tour to learn more about the area and the lumbering industry and unfortunately, I could barely hear anything due to a family with young children who could have cared less. Also, for the price that was paid, it was only 1/2 hour down the river and... More

What a beautiful day to ride a riverboat! That was our excitement and anticipation when we decided to take a picnic and experience the history of the susquehanna via the hiawatha riverboat. Just hearing the "riverboat" music and watching the boat take it's tour before our time to board was so exciting. My family all wanted to be on the... More

I have a 2 and 3 year old who have seen the Hiawatha on the river so they wanted to ride. I think they would have enjoyed the ride even if it was on fire! There wasn't much to do except look at the trees, the river and they fake paddle on the boat. I'm from the area so I... More

Went on wing night criuse during LLWS week and it did not disappoint. Not only was it a relaxing ride down the river(without screaming kids), the wings were delicious and hot. Cash bar was reasonable and staff was friendly; would definetely do again!

I visited this attraction with a friend on a Sunday public cruise. The ride is essentiallly a one-hour ride along the river and back. An interesting commentary is provided on the outgoing portion. It gives a history of the original paddleboat, the historical role of the river as part of the Underground Railroad, and the importance of the region in... More

I love boats and was very excited to go on this ride with two of my children. There is a nice parking area, outdoor bathrooms, and a ticket purchasing building with souvenirs. People were very nice. Tickets are reasonably priced. The boat is adorable! There are two levels, and enclosed lower level with a bar/snack food area, tables with chairs,... More

The paddlewheel boat is cute and reasonably priced. You get to be on the river for about an hour or so during a regular cruise. They also offer specialty cruises such as karaoke and wing night.

Love the Hiawatha. We try to get there at least once a year. Nice quiet relaxing ride. Snacks and drinks available onboard. Staff very informative and helpful. Take the trolley ride too. Nice tour of the city.

Thank Noelle H
