My two nieces (ages 11 and 15) and I went last Tuesday. When we arrived in the area around noon, it began to storm so we called to make sure they would be open. We were told they would be open, but the next trip would not be until around 1:30 and we could stop in then. At 1:30 we... More

I went in early August, 2015, for an afternoon ride with my 9 year old daughter. Like a lot of girls her age, she loves horses. While she had taken riding lessons and been on horseback numerous times, it was only my second. They set us up with a pair of beautiful, gentle horses. They spent time going over the... More

My husband and I decided to chance driving down without a reservation and they were very accommodating to us. I felt a little weird about their rule that you have to wear boots provided by them but definitely not a deal breaker. Staff is very attentive. Price is very reasonable. Tip: pay cash if you can. It's a bit cheaper... More

Took our 11 year old grandson riding for the first time. Our pleasant guide, Sean, made the trip worth while. They insist on children wearing provided helmets and recommend them for adults as well. A good idea we think. They also provide disposable socks and riding boots if you need them. $35 each gets you one hour, which includes quick... More

Deer Path Riding Stable offers easy rides for beginner riders and does not disappoint. Horses are well trained and taken care of, staff is friendly, knowledgeable and safety-conscious. HIghly recommend this beautiful ride in PA woods for families.

This was our first time ever on a horse. The guide was very friendly and patient with us. He made our first experience a great one. Definitely will be going back for future rides. Ty.

We had a lovely ride on a beautiful summer afternoon. We didn't have an appointment and got there at a good time, with almost no wait. We especially liked the fact that they had riding boots and head gear available for no extra charge. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, which was great because two of us had never... More

We did have a very nice day, but we drove over an hour to get to Deer Path. They were running 45 minutes late (past our appointment time). They really rushed giving us instruction once our turn was up because 'they were running behind' (their words). I felt that was very rude especially since we waited for our turn. It... More
