Must visit for us every year! Small size, big thrills! Very clean and beautiful landscaping. My kids and husband love this park. There is something for everyone here. Stop at Giant Eagle on your way on weekdays and get discounted tickets.

Kennywood park has been a longstanding Pittsburgh tradition of amusement parks. School picnics are held here. Special events including the yearly fall fantasy of bands and parades also are a big draw. Kennywood park is one of the few remaining amusement parks that offer not only tiered admission but also a "nightrider" pass of $26.99 if arriving after 5:00. Discount... More

Kennywood is a historic landmark in Pittsburgh. In the beginning, Kennywood had mostly children’s rides and a large swimming pool. Management realized that people were not coming to go swimming, they were coming for the thrill of the rollercoasters and they sought to improve the rides for adults. Fast forward to today and you see an amusement park that has... More

Attendance date, July 27 2015. Kiddie land - Awesome staff!!! I appreciate the staffs willingness, the company's agreement and support of caring for the child while on the ride! The staff was pleasant and helpful. At no time did they shy away from stuffing my 2yr old under arm and helping others on and off the ride! Recently attending another... More

Childhood memories forget all that this historical place has to offer. Even if you don't ride the spectacular offerings, there is much to see and do. The parade of colorful people excited to be here fills you with adrenalin and fun. Old favorites remain, the one and only Noah's ark, the last american turtle ride and a historic carousel that... Kennywood Park has become a seedy, understaffed, shell of it's former self since the change in ownership. Expect long lines for food, ride malfunctions, and overpriced tickets. The movie Adventureland was filmed at Kennywood Park since the real Adventureland refused to allow filming there. Those of us who grew up attending Kennywood would never have imagined that it would become... More

Visited today while up visiting family... The entry process was lonnng and not efficient at all.. had to listen to whining from my 10 yr old daughter waiting in line in the blazing sun. Never have this issue back home at cedar point. Rides and attractions average. High food prices for a small park. Friendly relaxed atmosphere once you get... More

Keep in mind this is not Disney... But short lines fun rides and lots to do made this is a great day for the grandkids. Kiddie land kept our 4 yr old grandson feeling a part of the fun all day. He could also ride most everything in the park. Two things to be aware of... Noah's ark ride is... More

I've been to parks across the USA, so don't waste your time here. The park opens at 10:30, but the rides don't open until 11:00. At 11:20, at least half the rides are still not open, making the ones that are a very long wait. We had 20 minute waits on some coasters due to this, with 5% of the... More

Hi Jimmy, I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience at Kennywood. Kennywood has a longtime tradition of opening the park before rides open at 10:30, to allow visitors to stake their claim to seating in the pavilions. While some rides occassionally open a little later, your description of at least half not opening by 11:20 is... More

It is in the perfect place, but everything needs to be touched up. Fright Night is so amazing! But when I go the lines are long and the rides could be more thrilling.

Hi Emily, thank you for your review. Glad to hear you love Fright Nights. It sounds like you visited on a busier day--most days, the longest wait for any ride is 30 minutes. If you can, try visiting on a weekday in the future. You will be on and off the rides in no time! More
