My family and I had the misfortune of visiting Kennywood Park yesterday after having not been there in a few years. What a mistake! The place was filthy, garbage cans were overflowing, the asphalt uneven and cracked, the buildings and rides are in disrepair and need painted, the staff was rude and disengaged, the waits for the rides were intolerable,... We visited here Sept 14, 2014. It was the last day of the normal summer season, so the park was packed by 1pm. When we arrived at 10pm, the lines were super short, but by 3pm, the kids had to wait in lines for at least 45 minutes. I was pregnant at our time of visit, so I could not... More

I grew up with Kennywood living in the Pittsburgh area. Every year we would look forward to multiple summer visits. I finally moved to Central Florida so theme parks are my weekend activity year round. Anytime I come back to Pennsylvania I must make a return trip here. Kennywood still holds that traditional natural feel to it for me. Landscaping/attraction... More

I love this. I use to go every year. They have the best rollercoasters snd its not ss busy or expensive as the well known parks. You dont hsve to dpend half your dsy wsiting in lines and they have a wide selection or rides.

It was a ton of fun. Very clean park, including restrooms! We had 3 little ones with us. They all had a blast! Like all places like this one, food and drinks were pricey. Suggestion: Get the souvenir cup for $9 and get water/soda refills for 99 cents. Better than buying several bottled waters. There was not any trays to... More

Kennywood used to be a top notch traditional park, but two things have caused the quality to go downhill over the past seven to eight years. When Cedar Point bought and closed Geauga Lake amusement park near Aurora, Ohio, Kennywood lost its closest competition. Instead of running to Cedar Point as their management had hoped, patrons of Geauga Lake invaded... More

Kennywood is a classic park that has grown to include several full size coasters but still maintain its family appeal and unique vintage charm as a registered historic district. Four of the parks major coasters (including three amazing wooden classics) can easily be enjoyed by even young riders. Although thrilling the not too fast, not too tall coasters have lower... More

A family centered, fun, and historical amusement park! My family loved the great rides and the good food (The Potato Patch fries are a must)! If you are looking for a park that has something for every family member to enjoy...this is the place! It's small enough and big enough for a fun day at the park for all!

My family and I went to kennywood this labor day, had a great time. We all loved the rides and because it was overcast it really wasnt crowded. the only problem we had with going this late in the season was all but one of the water rides were closed, to get ready for halloween fright nights.so go enjoy the... We have taken out children to Kennywood off and on for years. They still love it and request going there and their age ranges are 15-20! The lines are not long and the park is easy to get around. They have traditional rides mixed with newer rides so there is something for everyone. Can't say enough good about this park!!
