We went here 14 years ago and decided to make a stop here this year on our road trip as we were passing through going from Niagara Falls to Ohio. Park has old world charm to it while still keeping up with modern times. The 4D theater was Disney-like and impressive for a traditional amusement park. The Phantom's Revenge and... More

Kennywood is actually a lovely step back in time with many historic rides along with some silly favorites. Kennywood boasts some fine rollercoasters along with a few unique and historic ones. What makes Kennywood fun is that it harkens back to a quieter and gentler time. There is so much nostalgia and history in this park. It can’t even begin... More

We had a blast at Kennywood! We are 3 ladies over 55 so we had the $10 Senior Weekday ticket. The coasters are awesome and we loved the Thuderbolt the best. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We love that you can carry in a picnic and drinks. The one negative was the lack of ice for your drinks. Most parks... More

My family made its annual visit this year and we had a great time as usual. I finally got up the nerve to ride the Phantom's Revenge which I really enjoyed. The lines were not too bad earlier in the day and my kids rode the Jackrabbit and Racer multiple times. I liked the new 4D Theater while my kids... More

Where have you gone Kennywood? The best amusement park in America has really gone downhill since it was sold to a Spanish firm. It is quite obvious that the Spanish firm is reinstituting what was done many years ago when they took money from the new world to take back to the old world. The park has not added any... More

Hello, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to see you did not enjoy your visit and appreciate the feedback in order to help us improve. We did add a new, multi-million dollar 4-D Theater this year, which will be operating in all three of our seasons - Summer, Phantom Fright Nights, and Holiday Lights - with different movies.... Came a long distance (4 hr drive) to take my teen to Kennywood on 8/21. Was there once about 50 years ago. Good news: Great rides for my teen who loves roller coasters - and some other thrill rides we hadn't seen before. Always a plus. Appreciated the VIP coaster tour to ensure she got to ride without a long... More

Hi Lori, Thank you for your feedback. You visited one on of the busiest days of our summer, so it is no surprise you had to park far away and dealt with some long lines. While they can be inevitable, we recognize that we need to provide better customer service to improve the guest experience. We will be sharing your... More

I've been to Kennywood a number of times, Phantoms Revenge is my favorite coaster. (I've been to a lot of parks) we love the all the older rides and all the family rides. I agree with the other reviewers about the employees and cleanliness. First I do wanna say I didn't feel the rides were unsafe. The employees are bad.... More

Parking is a joke if you have a wheel chair forget it. They have a drop off spot but that does nothing but make a really bad thing happen. It's not for just the disabled its for everyone what a mess that is I watched for a 30 min time period I saw that people just parked there and just... More

Hello bigjeffmean, We are sorry to see your review of Kennywood. We do have a handicap dropoff area at the park in addition to a separate handicap parking lot. These are separated from the pay lot you mention, however if at any point the handicap area is full, you can talk to a parking attendant and they will assist you... More

Kennywood used to be a lot of fun and we would spend all day there. Nowadays we just visit for half a day and get home before dark. The surrounding neighborhood is not very safe and some incidents have been violent. It has nothing to do with Kennywood but it's the area around it. The kids have fun and always... More

Kennywood is a fascinating park filled with amazing, old rides that you won't see or experience anywhere else. Of course, these special attractions are nestled between exciting new thrill rides. I love the Whip, the Turtle, and all of the wooden roller coasters. Kiddieland is amazing for little ones. Be sure to get a hand-dipped ice-cream cone.
