Taking a trip to Kennywood is liking taking a trip back in time. It might not be as big as other parks but it's got an old school charm that is hard to find this day and age. The food is outstanding. The corn dogs are my favorite corn dogs and the fries at potatoes patch are amazing. The old... More

I grew up with Kennywood in my 55 years, and I have to say it has always been ranked right up there with the likes of Disney. But my last visit proved every dream that I ever had, very disappointing. Absolutely no home-like feel, like it used to have. No customer service to be found anywhere. Very young, immature kids,... More

And not in a good way. It use to be such a wonderful place to go and take your family I'm really failing to see why I would want to take my niece back to this establishment. The fee to get into the park is insane for it being such a small park with not much to offer. The food... More

It can be a bit pricey, but if you go to the Giant Eagle (right across the road) you can buy discount tickets that save you about $11 dollars a person. Make sure to ask about senior and other discounts as well. We had a wonderful time. WE arrrived a few minutes before rides started at 11 so the lines... More

The owners statement reads, "America’s Favorite Traditional Amusement Park since 1898". Some of the park has seen it's better days and some of it is quite new with great rides. We enjoyed riding the coasters--all of them several times--and the Black Widow was worth the wait. I agree with many of the people who've written about long lines, poor customer... More

I have been a huge fan of this park's sister park, Idelwild. Idelwild is a park for kids 2-10, and is located about 30 miles to the northeast of Kennywood. Kennywood is a better fit for the 8-adult crowd, although has some rides for smaller kids. Kennywood is an old park -- in existence for over 100 years. The roller... More

I have been to kennywood with my young daughter once a year for the past six or seven years. The place is affordable and the rides are lots of fun but the service seems to be slipping long lines to buy food and drink and unclean gross bathrooms so go there and enjoy your day but expect dirty bathrooms and... I love everything about Kennywood. I have been going there since I was a child and it is still just as fun as it was 40 years ago. There is something for everyone and it probably has the best amusement park food in the country. The potato patch fries are to die for.

This is a great local amusement park to go to in the Pittsburgh area. You don't have to stand in line for hours waiting on a ride, there is plenty to do, even if you aren't a big roller coaster fan. It's quaint, yet has the attraction of big rides. The historic aspect is neat also. The food is only... More

My folks used to take me to Kennywood when i was young, and my folks used to go when THEY were young. I felt I needed to take my kids there as well. I took my 10 year old there (we live in Fort Lauderdale not in the area) early this July. We were in the area and i promised... More
