Great time for young and old. Well maintained. Good selection of food. Convenient parking. Sometimes hokey entertainment.

My family goes there multiple times every summer. This last summer some rides broke down like the fantoms revenge( which is one of their 4-5 rollercoasters) was broken down and after they fixed it, it broke down again and it did this for weeks. There are some goods things about the park though. Like its originality, it's a great family... More

We have enjoy Kennywood on a regular basis, over the years. The memories are priceless and the food and rides (roller coasters!) are terrific. The only drawback is the macadum that is paving the way for smooth footing. It retains the summer heat and it seems it's always hotter in the park. Otherwise, go, have a great time and build... More

A visit to Kennywood Park is like a step back in time, an amusement park unlike any other. Started in the late 1800's, it still has the feel of a old time family park, and yet has many ultra modern rides too. Roller-coaster's on the National Historical Registry along side modern thrill rides and one of the tallest and fastest... More

Unlike the much more expensive theme parks, Kennywood is easily traversed in a day. One of the few remaining amusement parks that were built by trolley companies, Kennywood is still accessible by public transportation. It's designated as a National Historic landmark, and some of its rides hark back to the days of early amusement parks. Its old and beautiful carousel... More

This is a wonderful park with outstanding rides and okay shows. The fiord is average however the employees in one eatery in particular would rather gab with each other than assist. The overall good time is worth it. The gave a great military discount so do not buy any specials ax they cannot beat the discount.

This was my favorite amusement park when I was growing up. All the schools in Pittsburgh had field days here. Rides, Roller Coasters, Cotton Candy, Games, Fun Houses, Spook Houses, even a kiddy land with rides for younger children. The park started out just as that, but evolved. Once had a huge community swimming pool, but that's long gone. It... More
