The whole family had a great time on the Pumkin train, lots of fun both on the train and at the haunted house. A really good day out thank you.

This railroad is owned and operated by several train enthusiasts who happen to enjoy quite a large scale hobby! I happen to know Skip, one of the owners, who knows more about trains than anyone I know. We have had our faculty holiday party aboard the train, taken our family on the Santa Express, and taken the train to locate... More

Always looking for interesting "Santa" themed events. We decided to go on the West Chester Railroad this year. It runs from WC to Glen Mills, where you get off, visit with Santa, and return to train for the trip back. There is a person singing Christmas themed carols in your car and Santa wanders through during your trip. They handed... More

I'm am sorry to see that you had a less than desirable visit with us. We recently had a new person join our team, and they have improved the quality of both the food being served, as well as the level of service to our patrons. We understand that things like a nice full cup of hot chocolate make your... More

The 90 minutes with Christmas carols with 2 banjo players, hot chocolate from the snack bar and visit with Santa...:what a fun experience for kids (and adults with them!). Train leaves from the West Chester station on Market St. and stops in Glen Mills for an extra picture, then back to West Chester. If you go on a cold day... More

I took a group of 10 including 6 children and I would say the only part that made me feel I wasted money was the people who worked there. From the man who gave us tickets to the guy at the snack counter, they were miserable and would not even smile or even act like they wanted to be there.... More

I am sorry to see that you had such a disappointing visit with us. Every person in our 100% all volunteer staff wants to make your time on the West Chester Railroad an enjoyable one for every one of our patrons. There may be times when our staff appear to be gruff, but those instances almost always involve matters concerning... More

Have used this the past 3 yrs for Santa and Easter Bunny. Great for infants to teens plus parents. Total trip is 90 minutes. 30 minutes each way and 30 minutes with Santa/Easter Bunny and a stroll by the river. There is food and music the whole time.

Great ride on an historic train. Staff are volunteers who dress in period uniforms and are happy to answer any questions about the train. Scenic ride through beautiful fall leaves. Price was reasonable; $15 for Adults. Snacks available for purchase on the train. Heated cars are fine for cool weather. Was a fun, out of the ordinary adventure.

There's nothing like taking a ride on the scenic WCRR. Santa's Express is always a thrill for the little ones. The teens and adults will enjoy the scenic ride through the country. I think they run 3 or 4 trains on Sat & Sun during December.
