Tragic treatment of animals

Awful treatment of animals. In my mind, it's wrong to keep wild animals like black bears in these small cages. The animals look depressed and barely move.

Awful. How this place is still operational is a mystery to me. The stench of cat urine when you walk through their gift shop to get to the main park is enough to stop you in your tracks. The animals are kept in cages that are way too small and many of them are laying in their own feces. The... More

When we first got to Animaland I thought that it looked like a really cute place. The man behind the counter, who I believe is the owner, was very friendly and polite. The tickets were very reasonable priced at $8.00 per person and I bought two bags of food at $1.00 each. When you first walk into the park you... More

If you do though, please do not support this disgusting place with your money. There are two bears in a cage about 15'x17', one is terribly overweight, and the other paces about back and forth with no space other than to do that. There's a tiger in a cage the size of a living room, with nothing but cement to... More

I went here to relive my childhood where I thought this place was amazing and where I fell in love with pigmy goats. It may have been acceptable 20+ years ago but it looks like it has not been updated since then. All the exotic animals looked sad, lonely, broken, sick. There were no visible park attendants only the clerk... More

The smell in the gift shop should have stopped us there! My husband, Mom and I were touring the Pa Grand Canyon with family from out of town and thought the children would like the zoo. We were appalled by the sad, physical condition of the animals. The sheep skin were matted and filthy, as if they had not been... More

If I could give a zero I would!! Starting from the beginning of our visit, the 'office' was so overpowered with cat urine...disgusting! Moving to the outside animal displays: all of the animals' environments were run down, offered no stimulations, all food and water dishes were empty, crowded, etc. The animals seem, simply put, depressed...even listless. I understand that the... More

we took my Grandaughter and it was a nice walk past all the animals. They were all there but one animal. The porch, entrance and gift shop just weeks with the most pungent cat urine order. It must be. One big litter box😣. We had planned to lunch but we ran through the exit to avoid picking odor on our... More

On the way past going to the canyon I thought no way do I want to stop. For me it was a okay way to spend a little time. For most though, do not waste your time.
