This is a nice local zoo in Wellsboro, PA, a cute small town on the north border of New York. Lots of animals run wild here making it a fun zoo experience.

We have been going to animaland for years and it never gets old. Since 1988 we still like to stop and visit it.

Food available to purchase and we were given a hand-out bag of dried corn as part of our admission fee. $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors. Easy circular asphalt walkway with animals readily available for feeding. Monkeys, bears, deer, turkeys, goats, and many more were in fenced in areas around the circle. The guide on our tour bus stated that... More

Smells like urine so bad, you gag. Zoo includes 5 breeds of deer and a bear. Animals seem like they need more care.

We decided to try this little zoo again many years after our first visit and were very disappointed. There are several pens of deer, goats, sheep, a couple of buffaloes, etc. One cage has several small monkeys. Our greatest disappointment was the extremely small areas they provided for a tiger and 2 large brown bears. Those poor creatures looked downright... More

I was sick to my stomach upon entry. The animals are starving and malnourished, hairless & stir crazy. The bear are locked in small stalls, the tiger was unresponsive & thin, they even had a wolf locked in a dog kennel, he looked up but you could see no life in his eyes. Dirty, smelly, and very depressing. I don't... More

We brought our 8 year old son here. He LOVED IT, because you can feed the horses, goats, rams and deer. They have two black bear and a Siberian Tiger. Also, 4 monkeys. Neat place, but we do question the health of some of the animals. Pens could have been cleaner and the facility is not kept up well. The... More

This is a neat little zoo for people of all ages to visit. Be sure to buy a bag of food to feed to the animals. Many of them will come right up to you and eat from your hand. I especially liked the deer and the goats. It was funny watching the geese follow us down almost the entire... More
