We hiked Overlook Trail and Turkey Path. Overlook is fairly easy and there is one pretty picture spot. It's a great warm up for Turkey Path! Turkey Path is an easy walk down until you come to all the steps. Of course it's a much harder return but it's switchbacks so you do get some relief than just a straight... More

A friend and I went here for a day hike. There is a spacious amount of parking at the Visitor Center. They even have a special parking area for motorcycles. I believe the restrooms there are the cleanest I have ever seen in a state park. The first thing you encounter is an overlook with awesome views of the Pennsylvania... More

My husband and I went for the day. We captured amazing pictures. Now our kids want to go. We will return for a family picnic this summer. Camera recommended

The pa grand canyon was a good day trip while waiting for an evening of stargazing at cherry springs state park. The ride was short and our visit shorter due to the unusually cold weather at end of April. The park was clean and well kept and the views were breathtaking. Glad we stopped. A must stop for photography bugs

The snow and ice were thick and all trails closed. However the Overlook was open and that brought the rating up. Go see this in spring or summer.

The hike sure is terrific! I imagine the views at fall will be spectacular. Unfortunately we were there during summer, but the hike is still the same!

World-class view from the overlook over the canyon. Lovely at sunrise and sunset. Very steep hiking trail to the bottom at Pine Creek has waterfalls and old forest. A great "rail to trail" flat hike alongside the creek is a pleasure. Limited access to the canyon makes for a strenuous hike but limits crowds. The creek is very nice and... More

Beautiful fall foliage. We were lucky to hit peak time. Be sure and check out the films in the visitor center.

We only had time in our trip to go to the main viewing centers, where you can get some beautiful vistas of the “Grand Canyon of the East” from the east rim. There were several viewing platforms, all within a very short distance of each other. The views were wonderful! I do not like heights, or being on an edge;... More
