Since 1984, Pine Creek Outfitters has been a family owned service. NOBODY has guided more trips down Pine Creek or has more experience providing equipment and services for boaters, hikers, backpackers, and bicyclists in our region.

Our base on Route 6 is at the entrance to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. We have convenient on-site access to Pine Creek and are only 1 mile from the bike trail and nearby hiking trails. We provide free parking, toilet facilities, heated changing rooms, beverages, snacks, t-shirts, river gear, camping supplies, water, trash disposal & recycling.

We are THE place for everything outdoors!

We've had dealings with Pine Creek Outfitters three times now when biking the Pine Creek Trail. Twice before we've used their return shuttle service to bring us and our bikes back after our ride. This time we had them deliver my truck to our destination trailhead so we could drive back in comfort. They have always been on time, professional,... More

So... To be able to do a longer ride to take in the true beauty of the gorge without having to turn around or jockey cars at the beginning and end points of your trail ride Pine Creek Outfitters is the place to go and seems to be the only game in town. $25 a person - with your own... More

We used Pine Creek Outfitters to shuttle our bikes and us from Slate Run to Jersey Shore. Shannon was a pleasure to deal and gave me some good ideas on how to plan our bike ride - this was our first time on the Pine Creek trail. Our shuttle driver was a real gem and gave us lots of suggestions... More

Just found this place from a comment on line about the Pine Creek Rail Trail. They do car shuttle service for you. We use them to shuttle our car from Wellsboro Junction-beginning of Rail Trail to Jersey Shore-end of trail 63 miles. We did an overnight in Slate Run & picked up the car next day. No problems @ all.... More

The PCO did a nice jobbed providing us with what we needed for the ride. The bikes are not new but worked very well. The outfitters even provided baskets for the front of the bike to carry water and my camera. They provided a map and directions. The service was good but they were not overly friendly or all that... We came up to ride from Asonia to Rattlesnake Rock (20 miles). I think we could have done it further but it was our first time. We had them shuttle our SUV and it was there waiting for us. $50 well spent. Everyone is so friendly on the trail. We saw a bald eagle, no snakes or bears and lots... More

We called for information and they were very helpful. Arriving on the morning of our trip down the canyon, they offered to take our boats down to the water for us, as our trailer and van may have been hard to maneuver there. They delivered our vehicle to the pick up site as promised. Very pleasant and helpful. I highly... More

We made a reservation 4 days in advance completely unaware that Memorial Day Sunday is their busiest day. Parking at their location was a bit tricky due to that. Port-a-johns aren't my favorite but they were fine. Checking in went fine and they sell provisions for those not coming prepared. A very good selection of all kinds of items. Since... More

Nice area. Great location. However, the bikes are not the best and were not well maintained. Kayaks were fine. Overall.....the location is the reason you go here. The river is right beside the outfitters and they shuttle you upstream.

We love this place! There is no better way to get in touch with nature than to rent a raft and wetsuits from this place before floating 18 miles down the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania on the Pine Creek. Everything you need is here including easy to read water-proof maps of the river and sights to look for: Eagles nests,... More
