The price for dinner trip for my wife and I was $ 100. The trip up the road and back was 2 hours but nothing special, the only interesting sight was a lake we traveled by. The meals were bland and my wife's was cold... No one was available for correction. Not the RR's fault but we introduced ourselves to... More

The Tioga Central RR is a great way to leaf peep without driving, biking or hiking. Just sit back and soak it all in from the comfort of a strolling train.

My boyfriend and I did the lunch and we both got the Italian subs. It wasn't that great and wasn't worth the $40 we had to pay for each of us. The ride was nice, staff was friendly. Only downside was most of the better views were on the opposite side from where we were sitting so it was hard... More

We opted to not dine on the train and thoroughly enjoyed the open-air car for the first half of the ride. Fair warning, when the diners finished, they flocked to our car and thought nothing of crowding into the area, standing right in front of us, fully blocking our view and the air flow. Our traveling companions actually were so... More

Did the Dinner train at $50 a head, the normal ride is $22 so the assumption is a $28 meal. The ride itself is about 2 hours and 24 miles round trip. The train runs parallel to a state route. Driving yourself offers the same views and gives you the ability to stop and take pics when you'd like. Our... More

Great train ride. Very scenic and loved going through the valleys and mountains. Went on the lunch train and had a perfectly made beef pot pie which according to the chef was made on board. His speciality was a pumpkin cobbler which was awesome especially since I am not a fruit/vegetable person. Will definitely ride again.

This was my 2nd time visiting here. Previously I had taken the Dinner Train about 8 years ago and thought the experience would be similar. Bare bones staffing in Ticket Booth & Engine. The $$ they make come from having a vendor provide the Food and charging much more on Saturday evenings. Some nice scenery on Mountain side of train.... More

We always take the train ride when we are in Wellsboro, PA. It is about a 2 hour trip. You can either just ride the train or some schedules have lunch or dinner. Either way a very nice train ride!

We booked a dinner excursion on the Tioga Central and it was wonderful. When we got to the train, we learned that this August excursion was sold out, so if you are interested, go online and book your trip ahead of arrival. The food was absolutely perfect - and the service was awesome. My husband and I both had the... More
