Wow, what a pleasant surprise as to how much fun and delicious the meal was for an additional $5.00! I used to hear people say, "You can see he same thing from the road." But, I say from a different perspective since you aren't DRIVING. Visitors come to town, this is a great attraction to share with them.

We have been on the train several times for father's day and the Christmas Santa train. Yes the trains are old and you have to get through the rail yard and some houses but once you get out near the lake the ride is beautiful.

Breakfast on the train, and met some really nice people. We were celebrating my birthday, and they were celebrating an anniversary!

we took a family ride on this train.for about the first 10 min.looking out the left side all you saw was other train cars. Not much to the right either. There wasn't anyone talking about the area or pointing things out. All in all very boring and definitely not worth the money.would not recommend.

well it was not great. Alot of painting and cleaning of the cars is needed. If you wish to see marsh land or residential trailers this is the ride to take. I imagine if you are a child or train buff this is the attraction to see but the only favorable comment I can give is it had ample parking... More

I booked this for a party of 10 to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. Was not sure if it would meet our expectations for celebrating with a 90 year old, but it did and far surpassed any preconceived ideas I had. Food was amazingly good, service was great and the trip itself was relaxing and non pressured. The chef is... More

After reading some negative reviews my wife and I arrived not expecting much. We toured on a Wednesday. We felt the cars could have used some cleaning and painting, I assume there is a bigger cost to doing something like this. To be honest the views are not the greatest, but you do get to see some great marsh lands... More

My group loves this train ride. Perhaps not the most scenic trip on the Eastern US (although the lake views are nice and I love looking for wildlife like lots of osprey and some deer), but the staff is always pleasant, the food is great, and we just love hanging out on the train. We did the Sunday Flyer this... More

We've been on a lot of scenic train rides in PA. This ride is longer (with a bathroom & snacks on board) but the scenery is just OK. Really only good from one side of the train. Nothing more than you see on a drive around the area. Enjoyed the open air car & it was a very nice day.... More

Well guys it's been a while and I need to catch up on the 100s of places I've been so far since my last report. I'm a big train fan especially diesel! We travelled up from NY City round trip of about 10 hours and stayed in Corning. Not a bad little railroad, but we found some of the train... More
