We booked for two nights at this camp ground. The cabins were 8 to a bunk which was cool it's what we excepted. We set up camp outside our cabin's with a canopy, brought our own probable grills radio etc.. Curfew was about 11 pm which was fine.. So we just broke out some card games outside after 11 and... There are two rules here. 1. Curfew is 11pm. 2. No alcohol permitted. If you think you can break these rules, you are very wrong. They have very strict rangers and people are very snooty and rude. If you are trying to have a good time, go to spokes. Much cooler there.

We had a very enjoyable day on the Lehigh River whitewater rafting. The river is beautiful and very enjoyable. Even though it wasn't a dam release weekend, we felt we got our money's worth and the trip was well worth it. Friendly staff and made the day pleasant and happy. I will definitely be back.

Great experience in Whitewater river rafting. Unforgettable for me, as I found my love in this trip. they made it so special for everyone and even for beginners like us. Dont miss it. Giving 4 stars only for the price point. Could be a little less expensive. But its worth it, if you go with someone you love. You will... More

Took their Fri-Sun trip down Lehigh River Gorge with a Girl Scouts group, W-C did an excellent job providing logistics, meals, camping and entertainment (some scheduled by GS) into a well organized package weekend. Campsites, restrooms, showers, etc were clean, check-in was efficient, river guides were knowledgeble and having a good time with the rafters. Food was warm and filled... More

We went on a beautiful dam release day, it was very crowded but they are organized and everything went smoothly. The rapids are not that big even on a dam release day but fine for beginners. The hardest part was getting the kids to actually listen to me since someone has to direct the rowing. If you bring your own... More

My daughter's soccer team was doing a tournament in Wilkes-Barre and this was suggested as an attraction. Even though it was a dam release, the Lehigh River was pretty tame. But the girls and parents had a lot of fun. This operation is very well organized (although I have some quibbles about the whole boarding process) and the guides were... More

Just got back from a rafting trip, we did the class 1 & 2 rapids with the family. Our girls are 8 & 10 & it was a perfect 1st trip experience for them. Lots of down time on the river which our girls enjoyed swimming & playing in the water. Just a heads up there is a lot of... More

I wish we had a guide on our raft, but we had a great time on the river. This was a huge operation and there were tons of people, but the home base was very organized and everything was well labeled. There were showers at the end - much welcomed!

We went on a dam release weekend and after several days of some serious rains. We were told the rapids would be class 2-3 but these really weren't challenging so it really is fun for all ages. The process of checking in and getting where you need to be is very coordinated and I give the staff 2 thumbs up... More
