This was the fourth or fifth trip to WC and as ususal I enjoyed it very much. Very professional and well organized. In the past we generally ended up on the upper section of the river, but this time tried the lower section. Unless some of what we experienced was atypical, we will likely swith back (or to another river... More

Whitewater Challengers is a well-run operation and a good choice for large groups and families with younger children. Our group of 25 friends launched at noon on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend on the less-intense part of the Lehigh. Swimming was allowed at various points (voluntarily exits from the rafts). But there were enough exciting Class II and one... More

Took a third annual trip on the Lehigh with Whitewater Challengers, and had another great experience. First two were on upper gorge, this time on lower gorge. The lower gorge was a longer trip and more shallow water, but with dam release we were still able to go through without much problem. Enough rapids to make the trip exciting without... More

Last minute idea on Labor Day weekend. The guides on the trip were outstanding and kept the group flowing down river. A definite do if you are in the area

My husband, our friends and I went white water rafting this weekend through Whitewater Challengers and it was such a terribly miserable experience. We were traveling from NY and hit some pretty nasty weather which was red flag number one - but we called and the company said it was a rain or shine event and that the weather was... More

We had a very large group in three rafts in the beginners course. The guides were excellent and friendly. The wait when we arrived was not bad and the fact that the place was packed shows that this is a very popular destination. We will definitely go again. They give you two buckets, one with lid for your lunch. Hint:... More

I went for the dam release whitewater trip with my dad and boyfriend (so three adults). The operations there are run pretty well. We did not have any issues preparing for the trip and getting to the river. Since there were only 3 of us we had to pair up with another family of 3. I would recommend going with... More

Arrived at 10:30. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes, pancakes and cereal. You can't check in until 11:05. Stood in line for 20 minutes just to give my name. After everyone else has checked in you again stand in line to return your waiver forms and get your boarding pass. You then stand in line again to get fitted for... More

We got picked up in NYC in a luxury bus, driven to the Lehigh River, and spent 4.5 hours rafting. Had lunch halfway down the river and then driven back to NYC. What a day. Despite falling overboard and losing my hat, we had such a great time. IF you go, bring a change of clothes that you can safely... More

I bought a Living Social Voucher for this trip. 1. Organization - For the most part, everything was organized - bus pick up, getting life vest, bust ride to rafts, docking raft, etc... 2. Rafting experience - I have gone rafting a few times and this was an awesome experience. A lot more rapids than I was used to which... More
