Great Gardens. A hidden jewel. Suprisingly large property, much larger than we expected. Definitely a beautiful place to wander thru, and it clearly is a great place to have a picnic. Obviously, you have to have an interest in gardens or garden surroundings to visit here. Obviously it is not on the scale or grandeur found at Longwood Gardens, but... More

I recently spend a lovely morning here when the tulips were in full bloom. Gorgeous. I enjoyed moving from one themed garden to the next. I loved that the furnishings changed with the gardens--clever. The attention to detail was spot on. I'd go back again on my next trip to PA.

This is a special garden for those who love the outdoors and flowers. There are many unique chairs, bridges, and gates custom made by carpenters/artists on site that add to the beauty of the garden. This is one of the most unique and beautiful gardens I have ever visited.

Just gorgeous. Volunteers were friendly. So nice to see an area which uses shrubs and trees as well as flowers to enhance a landscape.

Very pricey, but beautiful. The hours are also funny and not always accommodating, especially on weekends. A bit of snootiness too, so you do feel like all eyes are on you while frolicking around! Would be fine if I never went back... got in free through a friend who paid.

I'd been telling myself I had to get to this garden for several years now, but kept forgetting to schedule it. Boy, am I glad I did! This place blew me away with its visual and olfactory splendor. I love Longwood (and am a member there) and the Morris Arboretum, but I have to say that Chanticleer touched me in... More

Have been going there over the years. You must go once each season as there are different things in bloom at different times. It is a happy and relaxing place to be! A must see!

Eastern Main Line location is convenient for Philadelphians. We enjoyed such a wonderful few hours wandering around the grounds that we will be planning to go back and have a picnic on the property. Highly recommended from a Main Line resident.

As we left Philadelphia, we decided to take a side-trip to Chanticleer Gardens, and were we glad we did! Spring was in full force, with tulips, daffodils, red-bud trees, and a multitude of other flowering plants and shrubs dotting the grounds in formal gardens, arranged in planters, and growing very naturally along some of the pathways, Walkways and grassy areas...
