Natural gardens, easy to navigate. Much to enjoy even in the heat of July. Many cool rest spots between the different areas

Forget everything you learned about formal gardens. Amazing plant combinations, over-the-top designs, and fanciful boxes to hold each area's plant lists. Each year and each season there are new things to delight the senses.

I enjoy visiting Chanticleer and have done so for many years. interesting to see the garden evolve and June was a particularly good time to visit with masses of blooms and the garden looking fresh and perky. my one disappointment was the lack of access for my 96 year old mother. they don't have any wheel chairs and even the... we spent two hours touring these gardens. this was a lovely display of plants and greenery. the gardens are nicely designed. the paths are well marked. there is no gift shop. a couple of books and post cards are available where you pay to enter the gardens. we loved the tea cup garden. this garden would be best to tour... This gem in the lovely town of Wayne is a rather small garden compared to Longwood Garden. However the masterful arrangement of flowers and trees (plus a pool of gold fish) makes it the best I ever seen. My mom visits from oversea and she loves this garden. Highly recommended!

These gardens are full of extraordinary scenes! You can tell that the gardeners are true artists in how they created these vibrant spaces of color. Put your camera to use here and take many shots so you can enjoy each spendid part again and again! It's like walking in paradise!

We visited Chanticleer Gardens on a Sunday morning. Very cool weather. Gorgeous flowers and foliage. A study in contrasts of texture and colors. The part that I liked best was the ruin . It was built on the foundation of one of the original houses to represent a house that had fallen into disrepair. The plantings in and around this... More

We went there in early June on a Friday evening for a family birthday party/picnic. The group's ages ranged from twelve to the mid eighties. It was a fairly long downhill walk to the picnic tables were were using. Since much of the garden is accessed by grass paths non of the seniors felt comfortable seeing the rest of the... More

Loved this entire visit. We visited on a Friday, and were able to take a tour of the home on the property. (Tours are only offered on Friday and Saturday, at 11:00 am. Pre-register or get there early, if you want to do this.) Admission is a very reasonable $10.00 and $5.00 extra for the house tour. This reminds me... More
