This is a really nice park for those who like the outdoors. The park offers a good variety of things to do.... walk, hike, bike, relax, or rent boats. Overall the park is really well maintained. The bathrooms are even clean...who sees this in a park?! This is a great place to enjoy a nice day outdoors.

You can rent row boats and has a great trail to bike ride or just walking your dog, very quiet. In the summers it's beautiful

Sit out, cook out, sit down, enjoy, and take a walk on the trails. Place was spotless to include the restrooms. All the people were nice. Enjoyed the day and the area!!!!

The bathrooms at this park are impeccably clean! Not one spider web... no mold and freshly cleaned each day! Seriously... hotel clean! No one likes to dodge bugs in the shower, so this is greatly appreciated! The grounds are equally as nice. Some of the campsites are a little 'shallow' and close together and close to the road... but over... More

We hiked for a couple of hours with a group that included kids as young as 6 and a few seasoned citizens. The trails are well maintained, there is never a need to do much climbing (unless you want to), and you'll find restrooms (of the portable variety) at the trail head (at least we did).

My husband and I enjoy hiking and there are trails around the lake with stop picnic tables at stop off points to enjoy lunch. There is also a place to rent canoes and paddle boats on the lake and a camp ground for camping.

This is a great place to swim and camp. Easy to access, ample parking, clean water. I don't live too far away so I go there often. Nice beach and swimming area for kids.

We took the trail that went all around the lake. It was great weather, shady, with a small breeze. The trail is open and easy to walk, and is nice if you are in the mood for a not-too-taxing afternoon stroll.

The area was very scenic and expansive so You can hike around. If you like wildlife, there is plenty of that. Keep a eye out for porcupines. I never knew they were native to the poconos. Really, I liked everything about the park.

Clean campground with some very nice campsites, and some not so well suited to tent camping. Our first site was set up with most of it being large-ish sharp-edged stones. Not very good for tent camping, but fine for camper/RV, I'm sure. We moved to a different site that was quite spacious and grassy - much better. The lake was... More
