Last week we skied and tubed at Camelback Mountain in the Poconos, PA. Skiing is nice because the mountain is fairly well lit for night skiing. The runs were well groomed and fun, but signage was sparse and somewhat hidden with pine overgrowth (difficult to see and tough to decide which trail to take when they criss crossed). The day... The price is a little high but the activity was lots of fun. The staff are excellent at keeping people in check and keeping the lines moving.

Kids had a ball on the mountain course. Pricey, but worth it! Safey is a major concern with harnesses & instructors. Other activities too not mentioned on the website. The mountain coaster was an extra added bonus. The kids loved the mini zip line. Boring a backpack with drinks & snacks!!

My husband and I visited Camelback Mountain in January to go snow tubing. It was our first time and we had fun. Our ticket paid for 3 hours of snow tubing which was great. However, we didn't stay for that long. The lanes were clean and there were lots of lanes so there was not much of a wait for... More

Did snow tubing here. They usually have discounted rates if you can arrive there before 9 AM. However we reached pretty late, around 11-11:30. Once you buy your tickets, they give you a time slot of 3 hours where you can do unlimited snow tubing. Our time slot was 12:30 to 3:30 pm. It was not an adventure sport. It... More

Our family of 6 went tubing at Camelback on Jan 11th. The park has many lanes and there was little wait time. The lanes are fast & fun. The staff was very helpful: One when I lost my hat and they retrieved it and a second time when the hat blew off and I had to get off the "magic... More

Decided to go snow tubing on a spur of the moment decision with my 9 year old daughter. Being it was Martin Luther King Day, kids were off from school so I kinda figures no matter where I go that I could expect some lines. Living in North Jersey, was looking for somewhere close and convenient to home. A few... More

This was by far the worst snowboarding experience we have ever had, not family friendly at all! Will never return or recommend this awful place! Traveling with our young kids ages 3 and 6 this was there 1st time snowboarding, however there was no place to teach them without being on a snowboard ourselves which is impossible & unsafe, especially... If you're traveling with an eclectic group that includes multiple levels of skiing (beginners through to advanced skiers) this is the place for you! About a dozen or so trails, and the intermediate trails are really gentle. I have a knee condition and was able to ski no problem. Kids starting to learn also get ski lessons or stay in... More
