The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau has 2 welcome centers and provides guests with information about the area. The staff is friendly and helpful and the PMVB is a reason as to why tourism in the area is successful. They do a GREAT job.

Camelback was great. There are many restaurants nearby to please any appetite. We enjoyed the Crossing Outlets also. There is something for everyone to do.

The Pocono mountain area is beautiful and has a lot to offer year round. The roads were good and well maintained. Our only complaint is that attractions are not well marked. Signs need to be posted in advance and better able to see from the road. Some of the falls that we went to see were not well posted.

We stopped in here to get some local information on the area and some ideas on what to do while we visited the Pocono’s. The girl at the desk was very helpful and directed us to Big Pocono State Park. It was only a few miles away and was absolutely beautiful. We would never have thought to visit it without... More

I am not overly impressed by the vacation bureau. lacking in people skills and friendliness. Not easy to access their office.. Closed on weekends, when visitors want to meet with a live person. No satellite offices open to public. I would not consider it an attraction.

This area is in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is 2 miles south of New York and 2 miles North of Philadelphia. It's an all season area. Sking in the winter and biking, hiking in the Fall, swimming in beautiful lakes. Beautful all year round. This place has nice accomodations. Wilkes-Barre and Hazleton are not to far from each other. They both have... More

Stopped here early in our visit to the area and glad we did! Katie had good ideas on things to see and do in the area and we got maps & brochures, as well as some tips for off the beaten path.
