I have taken a buggy ride with AAA @ the Kettle Kitchen before and had a great time. It was a little commercial but our guide was Amish and very informative. We made a huge circle back to our starting point, allowing us to see different things all the way. I had family members coming to visit and wanted to... More

While we weren't riding in a standard buggy, we were riding together in a carriage pulled by a two horse team. The staff at Ed's Buggy Rides not only were helpful and friendly, but they were also very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. The approximately 45 minute ride took us through an Amish area with explanations of what we... More

We went pretty early in the morning and were fortunate to have a ride with just the two of us and the driver. I think his name was John. We took the hour tour that went to the farm. He was very pleasant and informative about the Amish way of life and answered any questions that we had. It was... More

We had a seasoned Amish driver who was talkative and jovial- pleasant enough to enjoy the sunny summer ride with. Our party of 4 adults and 1 toddler sat in the "Sunday" buggy with another young family of 4. Privacy was not an issue at all. You're not allowed to take photographs of the Amish people (completely understandable- I wouldn't... More

I loved that I could just show up with my sons, pick a tour and go, no waiting. It was a beautiful day to take in the countryside. Our driver was informative, if a bit difficult for the kids to understand. We chose the tour where we stopped at an Amish home to shop for some crafts, which gave us... More

After checking out several we chose the one hour farm with Ed's and feel we made an excellent choice. Our Amish driver was knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job of explaining how an Amish farm operates, and was very willing a to answer questions about the Amish lifestyle. It is amazing to us to see all the modern conveniences they... More

Our driver only gave us information about farming and not a lot of history of the Amish people. He drove the buggy and faced forward the entire trip and it was very hard to hear him, since we all were behind him. We had lunch later with another family that had taken another buggy ride with another company and they... More

My husband and I wanted to take a buggy ride during our honeymoon and Kathy (Olde Order Amish Tour owner) recommended Ed's Buggy Rides. We loved it! Our driver was Sam and he was funny and very knowledgeable. We liked the fact that the route they took was through the back roads and the scenery was beautiful. Sam told us... More

I was visiting the Pennsylvania Dutch area with my husband and two boys, ages 5 and 8. We decided that we wanted to take a buggy ride and began comparing what was offered by the different companies. The rates were all somewhat similar, but some of the companies take you along the busy tourist roads. We really didn't want to... More

I tried a competitor but really enjoyed Ed's Buggy Rides best. He uses real buggies, drivers are entertaining, and the wait was not half as long as some other places. We went on the farm tour to a real Amish farm. Our kids got to sit up in front with the driver which made their trip memorable.
