Had a great time, Tried the buggy place on 340 right by plain and fancy and was very unsatisfied. This place is way better!

Thought it would have been fun to take my family for a ride on a buggy ride, was told that they have two tours which was very quickly discussed to me then after we agreed on the short tour and told that there were plenty of buggy's, we then were told by a very rude and short tempered elderly gentlemen... My wife and I took our 4+ year old grandson and his parents for a buggy ride. The driver was previously Amish, but stepped away from the church. He certainly knew a lot about the area. We saw miniature horses and a working Amish farm.

Ed;s Buggy Ride was excellent! The ride and stop on the farm was great. Our driver was so nice and had so much information. He answered all of our questions, and never made us feel any question was silly. We learned a lot from this experience.

The buggy ride (which is fun in and of itself) took us to a farm where we could buy Amish foods (which weren't good) and arts and crafts. The guide was excellent. Not only was he funny but also very well informed. You pay at the end of the ride which already shows confidence on their part. Unfortunately we did... More

The ride to the Amish farm takes about 45 minutes round trip. We were shown the different carriages in the barn and what they were used for and shown the gift shop. I did some pricing and found their prices to be less than other gift shops so we went back after the tour and made some purchases. Due to... More

My husband and kids loved riding in the horse and buggy and asking questions to the Amish driver, who was happy to oblige. I will say I believe he overcharged us a few dollars from the quoted price (he struggled with basic math, needing a calculator) but I was happy to oblige. We enjoyed it and the non-riders were able... More

Our family enjoyed the enclosed horse-drawn wagon ride through the back roads of the Amish countryside. Ike, a retired Amish dairy farmer, was our driver and guide. He was informative, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions about the Amish way of life and the surrounding area. We toured a working Amish farm and stopped at its on-the-premises craft shop... More

My family and I (15 people) had the pleasure of experiencing Ed's Buggy Rides this past weekend in Lancaster. Ed was SO accommodating to our large party and both "tour guides" were fabulous and full of knowledge. I would highly recommend Ed's over the other buggy rides in the area- I have done a few others in the past and... More

Park the car for a bit and step back in time via an old-fashioned horse-drawn, buggy ride through Pennsylvania Dutch country. Ed's got a good set up here. And our buggy driver/guide was quite informative! She did a great job of explaining about Amish practices and customs. I would recommend Ed's Buggy Rides to anyone who is touring this section...
