The museum's building is interesting architecturally. The collection of the museum is displayed really well. I would like to compliment the staff of the museum for their work on displaying temporary exhibits, as well.

Great atmosphere, friendly employees, enjoyed displays and was able to see all (taking our time) in less than 2 hours.

Always a beautiful collection of artwork. The museum has changed through the years, but it always offers really unique and interesting collections.

The Palmer is much smaller than other museums we've been in, but it has a very diverse collection for a building its size and many interesting things on display. The information provided on the pieces was perfect.

The Palmer Museum houses an impressive permanent collection of art in addition to traveling exhibits. The facility is very attractive and shows off its collection well. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. If you visit Penn State, take time to stop at the Palmer!

Quiet, relaxing atmosphere with extensive permanent collection representing many eras and styles. Well lit, comfortable galleries. Frequent special exhibits. AND... excellent, uncrowded game-day rest room site (a little secret).

I have been here twice and the exhibits were changed between visits but they were 3 years apart. Collection of old PA town lithographs/intaglios and watercolors were interesting as well. The changes in the towns from then to now is dramatic. The collection was from the owners of the Tavern on College Avenue where they hung on the wall. What... More

The Palmer Museum of Art is interesting. While certainly not a destination, it is something worth seeing if you have an hour or two to kill in the State College Area. The museum has a wide variety of artists--mostly American, but some Dutch and Italian paintings are featured, as well as a large collection of Mesoamerican and Asian pottery. The... More

There isn't an admission fee which is nice especially if you're rushed for time. The museum appears to be well maintained and taken care of and the art is displayed in a very nice manner. I enjoyed the walk through I took and I hope to come back again when I have more time. Very nice collection.
