There are so many interesting things to see for a relaxing mid-week visit. You may not have time to enjoy all of them when you are visiting a student. There's more to PSU than football.

Spent the evening on campus with my family after a football game and had a wonderful time walking around campus and college. Very beautiful campus with neat design and some comfy open space mixed in. Great campus atmosphere. My son fell in love with the school and added it to his list. Some very neat shops and restaurants in town... More

My niece took advantage of the opportunity to Spend A Summer Day at Penn State. The program was efficiently set up, the alumni and student volunteers showed Penn State at its finest. We were able to get a great sense of the university and its programs. The free bus service is wonderful to get around the campus and the downtown... More

You need to be in good shape to tour the campus. the buildings are numerous and grounds are very well kept. They built this facility and named the town State College, PA as it is the central location of the state. I was truly impressed.

My family and I sent my sister off to Penn State Uni. Campus grounds were breathtaking and there seems to be a lot of student clubs and activities going on as well. Campus grounds are even good for a stroll during the evening and a visit to the creamery is a must!

Beautiful campus and cool downtown for students and parents. My husband and I walked around campus and stopped at a bar or two. Nice restaurant options. What I was most struck by was the friendliness of the people we encountered in the stores. Happy Valley!
