We took the tour, spoke with faculty and students, and were very impressed. The intangibles that a world class University brings, can't be under estimated. Networking, chances to go abroad, and many major options make this one of the best. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and the grounds and town and beautiful. Hope our daughter gets to attend next... More

We loved the atmosphere of campus and the ice cream from the Creamery. It's nice to walk through part of the campus and see the beautiful trees as well the happiness of the students who reside here.

This event for prospective students was very well orchestrated. We especially appreciated all of the friendly alumni helping out for the day. The Honors College session was the best.

When you here the words We Are, the first thing you should say is Penn State! We visited the college on 7/27/15 as part of the Spend A Summer Day program. Let's just say I left there wishing I could go back to college. The school spirit there is amazing, but the opportunities are immense. I really hope my son... More

I liked everything. Call it Tree and Plant City. It is primarily an agriculture university. There are tree and perennial/annual plants everywhere. The architecture blends in with the natural areas. It is easy to walk the campus. Don't miss the Nittany Lion Shrine, the Stadium, and the Sports Museum by the stadium. WE ARE......Penn State.

Our family spent two days in State College exploring the University as a potential college for our daughter. Everyone we met on campus and through the "Spend a summer day at Penn State" experience was amazingly helpful and professional. What stood out the most was how friendly the people were from students on and off campus, to local volunteers, to... More

Nestled in Happy Valley, this University is the center of life for any visitor. The Central PA Arts Festival is held the in same time frame each year with lots of artisans, food, and drink. The locals are extremely gracious and hospitable.

First visit in 15 years and was overwhelmed by all the new facilities. Well planned, functional and the campus is nicely laid out. I was impressed by the sports/football complex and also the newer classroom buildings. The ice cream store is also in a new home but still remains delicious.
