Lots of walking but a pleasant quiet campus during the day. Have only seen a freshman dorm older but clean

This is a beautiful campus with a mix of old and new. It is a city within a city. The athletic facilities are awesome. But the University is so much more. The food service facility is very complete and modern. While you' checking that out stop for some ice cream. It is some of the best I have ever had.

Always wanted to see Penn State. Driving nearby so stopped. Visited football stadium and walked most of the campus. It is a city unto itself but not anything special. It doesn't have the charm of many other old schools.

The Penn State Creamery is almost always cited as a "must go" for Penn State/State College, but the Meyer Dairy Store is a excellent alternative. In many peoples opinions (including mine) the ice cream is equal to the PSU Creamery. Meyer has several pluses. Free parking at the store. Shorter lines. Menu includes sandwiches and such. Conveniently located at 2390... More

Went for a day at Penn state. Great school. The kids were great. They treated us with the nitty lion mascot, Can't beat that. VERY large school. Did a lot of walking.

We took the tour, spoke with faculty and students, and were very impressed. The intangibles that a world class University brings, can't be under estimated. Networking, chances to go abroad, and many major options make this one of the best. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and the grounds and town and beautiful. Hope our daughter gets to attend next... More

We loved the atmosphere of campus and the ice cream from the Creamery. It's nice to walk through part of the campus and see the beautiful trees as well the happiness of the students who reside here.

This event for prospective students was very well orchestrated. We especially appreciated all of the friendly alumni helping out for the day. The Honors College session was the best.
