We travel to Penn State often, as our daughter is a student. Everything is top notch on campus. The students, visitors, employees on campus are all smiling and happy to lend a helpful hand. Tailgating at a football game is an experience unlike others, and when the game is over the place is cleaned to perfection. Everyone is proud to... More

For travelers to Penn State I would highly recommend staying at Carnegie House in the Toftrees area where the rooms are great, the service is wonderful and it has the nicest restaurant in State College. While there, enjoy a sporting event, or entertainment at Bryce Jordon Center. But also take time to tour the university, Museum at Beaver Stadium and... More

My wife and I graduated from here as well as our children. We have seen this institution grow and keep up with the changing times. Sure, the sports facilities have expanded, but look at all of the new buildings for education that have been built as well (Forestry, Creamery, Law Building and many others). They have a fantastic new Arboretum... More

Came for a visit on December 16th. Gray, cold, cloudy day. Library was jammed with students cramming for exams. Not the friendliest academic institution I have ever visited. Porcine crowd of closed-mouthed academics. Buildings are spread out all over the huge campus. They spend a lot of money on their sports arenas here to the detriment of the educational facilities.... It is truly an experience in which you should feel. The atmosphere and town in my opinion can’t get better than this. I have had two kids graduate from Penn State and they come back often. Great school, Great tradition, Great place, Long Live Joe Pa!

Great visiting. Interesting to see the old landmarks and the new buildings. Creamery was terrific and was able to bring a few 1/2 gallons home!

This is a large lovely campus. It's nestled in a beautiful town in central PA. Expect the temperature to get quite cold in the winter. Don't forget to visit the Nittany Lion Statue, the arboretum, the art museum and the very popular creamery.

Very clean, wholesome atmosphere. Campus is beautiful with its architecture, landscaping, etc. My son attends PSU and thoroughly enjoys it! There is so much to see and do, people are super-friendly, and I never worry about his safety while there.
