I enjoyed the lovely old home, converted into a historical society and genealogy research area. Their displays are interesting and well documented as well as easy to interpret. The staff is extremely helpful, going above and beyond the call of duty.

What a gem tucked away! This place is fantastic-- lots of cool artifacts and local history. The people who work there are friendly and love their town. Yes, it's a little corny in some places, but it's a small town. The house itself is beautiful and very historic. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming through the area.

We were just in to see if they had a book about Shippensburg but was very impressed with the research team. If you need to check geneology, info on old buildings or whatever, I bet they will have the information you need. Very organized and wish we'd had more time to really look everything over.
