Such a nice ride with the grandchildren (5, 10, 12). Sat in the caboose (upstairs and downstairs). Guide was pleasant and unobtrusive. Scenery very pretty along the river. Hot day made delicious with the air blowing in the windows, keeping everyone perfectly comfortable. 30 minutes to the end, then 30 minutes back. For such noisy contraptions, there's something soothing about... More

My father is a train enthusiast and we finally rode this train since it is almost in our back yard. We were surprised at the number of people on the ride. The ride is about an hour long. There is a narrative explaining sights along the way. However, we sat in the open air car and you could not hear... More

My family and I went on the Christmas Train ride. The volunteer elves and Santa`s "daughter" were very nice along with the woman who gave us our tickets. Overall, the Christmas experience was very poor. There was a man dressed as the Grinch who was filthy who followed the Santa throughout the train.... He then walked throughout the parking lot... I completely agree with BellaNottle33 review of 12/10/12. I only wish I would have read it before spending $30.00 on what was a nightmare experience. Everything Bella said was accurate, but I would like to add one more "feature" of the Santa Train. Let me just ask . . . why would any organization who has an understanding of children... More

Rode this train with my Grandchildren--back in 2008 The people were very friendly. We took our lunch and sat in the open car! The children had a wonderful time.

My 3 year old grandson is train crazy. He LOVED it and I loved watching him love it. It was really enjoyable through and through. Beautiful scenic ride along the river. We were able to sit anywhere we wanted to in the train. We selected the caboose and were able to hang out with the conductor. At the end of... More
